Kulowski, or however it's spelt was playing CB apparently and Sean Newton up front!

He tried putting Newton up front a few times for us. Useless, and means he can't do the things he is good at.

He's also putting Speed merchant Simon Heslop on the wing.

The man is insane.

Big game v NFU next up for your games.
It certainly is. Six defeats out of 7 for us now. Defeat against Ferriby and we're right down there; NFU don't score many but they're a tough team to breakdown.
The focus of our players may be on the Luton game as well.

With another display like last night, considering we're better away from home, then all it would take is a bit of luck for us to get something on Saturday, and god are we due a bit of luck after the last few weeks
We're bound to give you chances we've conceded 8 in the last 6 but scored 17.
Best way to score against is get it wide as we're very narrow recently for some reason.
Arnold and Rhead are playing particularly well just as are our 2 centre backs Waterfall and Raggett.
Literally anyone could score in our team only the keeper and Lee Beevers haven't ! Beevers is out for the season now.

I thought Whitehouse had a good game last night, especially annoying as he played for us in League 2 on loan from the Blades and never really did much.

I hear FGR played good football last night, so much better than stamping, elbowing and and kicking your way for a point. So well done Mr Cooper and Co!

We are playing good football this season but in front of goal we are poor. I'll be shocked if we get automatic promotion this season and I expect another playoff disappointment. FGR constantly choke against the other top sides.

Don't worry pal lots of more new ground next season.

There won't though, that's the point. There won't be a York City if we go down.

I'm beginning to wonder if Mills actually has a clue what he's doing.

It was a stupid sentimental appointment made by a stupid sentimental chairman. If you really want to see someone who doesn't have a clue what the fuck he's doing, look no further than the clown who's running the circus.

I think I'll just post what I wrote on our forum. We are a tragedy just now.

I'm beginning to wonder if Mills actually has a clue what he's doing. He inherited a mess for sure but we were a total dog's breakfast last night. Players out of position all over the shop. Our top scorer loaned out with no replacement. And if he genuinely thinks Flinders and Letheren are "about even" he wants his head examined.

Despite the fact that we're an absolute shambles defensively, there were still a few minutes in the 2nd half when you thought we might have made a game of it. Newton hit the bar, Klukowski bundled in and we looked brighter. Had we made it 3-2 it would have made for a real finish to the game. But then their full back gets to run all the way across the edge of the box with none of our players bothering to get anywhere near him, and makes it 4-1. Game over, and if we're honest we've been rolled over by a much better side and it could have got a lot uglier than it did.

Didn't see the Nti incident but their players reacted immediately and it's hardly helped, has it? We have the worst disciplinary record in the division and it needs sorting. Rooney is not helping.

The only thing is that it can't get much worse.
Must have been bad as it snapped his shin guard.

And when he throws enough shit and it does stick.. Moke in deep central midfield role last season. Who was one of our best players in first couple of months, gets injured, but he then practically freezes him out the side for the rest of the season and releases him.
...Then signs him for York.

York need to act now, while there's still time left to save the situation. Mills will have you sleepwalking into relegation.

We are about to fly up the table.
Now that we've dropped Constable out of the picture, we are starting to score goals and N'Gala will be good for us at the back, given Cresswell is out for 4-5 months. The FA Cup run could ruin it though....

We've only lost 1 of the last 13 league matches, but we've been utter shite for a while now, the Tranmere match excepted.

Are you seriously trying to mock me for supporting a manager who has been in charge for the two most successful spells in our history? :brill:

No my friend, I genuinely agree with you, CK has been more than brilliant for us, best ever you could argue. What I am mocking you for having your tongue so far up his jacksy, that whatever he does you will never see any wrong, and that's just blind Bull shit my friend.
Magri, Thomas, Orlu, Parky, and even Payne this year (after being sent off twice last year) all came back immediately after missing games, but with our talisman, you think its okay for CK to bench him, simply because hes the manager and can do so!
Look I am afraid I criticise him because of his dated 1970's tactics, all our opponents know that we repeatedly play the long ball, and he never changes anything regardless of the score. Remember when we went down to ten men just after half time against BW and in his infinite wisdom decided to play 4-5-0, and only changed anything when by doing so we let 4 goals in in 15 minutes.
Chester destroyed us because we had no keeper on the bench, Tranmere made a mockery of this absurd man marking policy of his that only works against a static opponent, Gateshead I think it was who done the same.
He previously argued Miller couldn't play before because the team was winning, then we lost and he couldn't play because we were losing, then he went into print and called him lazy!!
He wont let our keeper throw the ball out, all defenders have to clear the lines instead playing out from the back (they themselves have admitted so in the bar after the games) and throw in's have to go down the line, even thou, without a 6' 2" target man we lose possession from about 70% of them!
We are now being found out far too often, and when we aren't it's because someone is scoring a hell of a lot of goals the majority out of nothing...and you think because CK may have him on the bench Saturday that's acceptable, well I, and most other Dover supporters wouldn't, and that's why I mock you.
Come into the real world sir. Of course I support him, as indeed I support all our players, and why, simply because like you I support our club, but contrary to what you think, I am not being negative at all, simply being open and realistic, something you appear incapable of doing, sorry

What you're doing it looking at things that went wrong with the benefit of hindsight, and completely ignoring the majority of the time when the exact same tactics have worked wonderfully. With the way we play we will take some beatings, because we rely on strikers outscoring the other team - some days they'll have off days, and we'll get beat.

The only person holding a grudge about the way Kinnear treated Miller is you. Ricky himself has said CK is the best manager he's had.

I think if Kinnear drops Miller on Saturday and we win then its fine. I hope he doesn't drop Miller, but I'm not picking the side.

I don't agree with everything Kinnear does, but I'm never going to criticise. His record speaks for itself.

Match threads are my favourite. Always the same cycle- interesting match previews from fans of teams - then baiting usually from FGR - then inplay score updates - then interesting match reviews from fans of teams - then ends with arguing and baiting - then its time for the new match thread.

By the way, i wouldn't want it any other way :D

You missed out the part where bigluke berates Kinnear for making the wrong substitution in the 88th minute of a 5-0 victory.

Is there a thread on this forum where LeWhites and Big Luke haven't had an argument?

Hah sorry!

It's like when you're round your mate's house as a kid and you're awkwardly stood there while he's arguing with his parents.
