Gateshead 1 Macc 1. Sounds like we were lucky to get anything there based on that second half.

Why weren't you lot playing tonight? Only just noticed you weren't.

Sad to see York in such a state.
Yep, it was us 5 years ago! Maybe not quite as bad but similar.

We played NFU a few weeks ago when everyone else was in the cup.

Chester 2-2 Southport. Chester's goalkeeper named MOTM - says it all.

Deserved at least a point from that, massive improvement on Saturday. We seem to be saving all our good performances for ex-league clubs, so I'm optimistic for Lincoln.

Sorry Guiseley, but you lot were a bit rubbish...
Time wasting after 6 mins! Haha. It felt like a stroll out at times, though until the first goal it was frustrating.
The Guiseley players themselves didn't look dreadful (when did Rankine get so fat? He was a beanpole when he was with us), but there was barely a pass to a man.
I don't think we'll win away at Dagenham, as we've not faced a real difficult test in a while.

Sounds like we rode our luck in the first but were much better in the second half and in the end a draw with a depleted squad is a decent point. Win the game in hand and we're only 3 behind FGR. How are our veggie friends feeling now? Not 1, 2, 3, 4 but FIVE sides within 6 points and ALL of them have a game in hand. Pressure time now and you still haven't beaten any of them!

Yep, both of us stuck with the manager who relegated us for too long. Really hope they can get out of the mire.

We live a lot more dangerously than we ever did under Brabin, but it sure is entertaining (which it never was under Brabin, except for about 25 minutes of the entire season). I'm still not sure we have enough to win the league, but looking at the way the table is shaping up, it'll be no disgrace to finish playoffs.

You are just a Tin Pot club that has returned to its natural status. Beating you means nothing to us, we expected to do that. None of the REAL clubs would ever crow about beating clubs like yours. :bdick:

Correct. We hammered them and we're crap.

Shit that was bad from us. Bizarre how Southport couldn't beat us, a kids team could have we were that bad.

Will happily take the point on that performance.

Dominant first half, TRFC chasing shadows, they score from their only real chance of the half. 2nd half Mellon makes the smart switch to match our midfield diamond and gives Traore and Noble at the top and bottom of said diamond no time on the ball and TRFC starting to win possession and pass it much better. Then Nors comes on and KMB gifts them the ball (carbon copy of Noble on Saturday) and Nors gets the equaliser. Even then we had plenty of chances to win it, KMB hits the post and both Doidge and Noble miss great chances while TRFC have 3-4 chances of their own. Still yet to beat anyone in the top 8, with 4 draws and 3 losses. If you look back at our last two season it's been very similar against the top sides.

Southport can feel aggrieved not to have won that. We couldn't get the ball in 2nd half, and when we rarely did we gave it straight back to them. They gave us a lesson in passing. Since Sam Hughes was moved from CH to RB we've conceded 10 goals in 4 matches. When he played CH we conceded 1 goal in 9 matches. It's Macca's cunning plan to put off the money men from signing him in January.

Excellent game. Best I've seen in 10 years at this level. Both teams playing football and attacking. We were fantastic first half, could have been 3/4 up. Second half Tranmere were fucking excellent, closed down everything and really looked up for it.

The title race is getting really interesting now...

Woking weren't as bad as I was expecting, if they could finish we'd have been in trouble. That said, with defending as crap as tonight they won't win many games this season.

We were really impressive going forward, even without Miller. Pinnock and Emmanuel are dangerous on the wings, Lafayette is brilliant all round. Headaches for CK and Jake Leberl trying to fit Miller in on Saturday, honestly think he won't start.

The most bizarre thing is that both of our goals came from 20+ yards out, yet we just couldn't take easy chances in the box. Credit to you, you put the ball in a dangerous area a couple of times and our new centre-half had gone walkabout, and you took the chances. I wish we could be that clinical.

It's certainly unsettled us, Hudson is a calamity.

The whole midfield was awful tonight though and overrun, they all look completely knackered.

It was a great game pal! Either team could have won it in the end. Mellon has got you playing some good stuff!
