Wasn't at the match (Work) but from everything I've heard, from Maidstone, Dale and neutrals, only one word can sum it up.

Robbed.

Alfreton 1-1 Newport

Really enjoyed today despite a drab game in all honesty. Not for the want of trying from either side though to be fair. Couldnt ask for anything more from the lads. They put everything they had in to the game. Plenty of effort and gusto but little in the way of clear chances really. Priestley with the best for us in the First half when he should have done better having been put through by Monkhouse.

Monkhouse and Westcarr were superb for us.

Newport had the better of the second half. great run from Rigg for their goal. Only real bit of quality in the game. The most unlikely of heroes with Terry Kennedy, arguably the worst defender in the squad, popping up with the crucial leveller with 15 to play.

The right result with both sides in the hat for the Second Round Draw. Couldnt call the replay at Rodney Parade, it could go either way! You would not have known their was 2 divisons between the sides which is a credit to us.

Law actually spoke to him during the game whereas Westley basically told him to shut up and let him get on with his job. All live on the BBC final score program :bg:

Best of luck in your replay by the way. I'd love a trip to Alfreton in the next round

Haha! Love it!

Thanks mate. Hope Macc get a good draw. Not us though. We have played you, Lincoln and Wrexham enough times recently in the cup. Westfields or Curzon is the one everyone wants of course.

To be fair to Westley it's a stupid invention of Setanta that they have kept - in-game interviews shouldn't be a thing. There should be no media contact from before kick off until the final whistle - allow the game to happen.

The BBC interviewed the Eastleigh captain as he was walking off the pitch at half time...

Didn't realise Westley was in at Newport until I saw him on the BBC coverage, now I'm a little sad that Stamford have gone out and we couldn't have an angry dwarf named Graham derby between Westley's Newport and Drury's Stamford.

On one of the FA Cup press releases read that Stamford, which is near Peterborough apparently took over 500 supporters to Hartlepool. Dont knoiw what their average attendance is, but a big round of applause to that lot, really impressive, and Deverdics one of our former players gave 'Pool the lead yesterday...fucking party pooper !

I'd be pretty pissed off if Mark Clemmit came bouncing up to me asking inane questions at any time to be honest, let alone during one of the small periods in a week where I'd want to be focusing on the pitch rather than on an over-excited man-child.

The bloke is a penis.

Yes, Stamford is South Lincs, about as far South in the County as you can get. They did very well to beat Wrexham after playing the rounds to get this far. Was a fantastic turnout for them up in the NE.

Have to say was relieved to get draw Saturday, we probably didn't deserve it but who cares. Derry knew all about us, and our absurd man marking system which particularly in the first half his team then proceeded to rip to piece and had their CF who I kid you not was a cross between Anthony Joshua and the Rock been able to shoot straight they would have been out of sight. Our midfield was woeful again, non exostent in fact, and even allowing for Moore not being given permission to play, it highlights our bosses quite woeful recruitment record this season.
Also worrying is the complete lack of form these past 3,4 games of Mr consistent Ricky Modeste who just didn't turn up, but hey, a replay next week, and still all to play for, settle for that

Just hope that there is absolutely no rain in Newport between now and next Tuesday DSL, otherwise who knows when your cup replay will actually be played!

Around half that. Which is pretty impressive for the level actually, though they just got relegated to it this season. Not sure what they were getting last season, if it's been boosted by the cup run or not. It hasn't been boosted by our visit yet (one of our closest away games), which makes it all the more impressive that they are the second highest in our league.

In fact I just checked the fixtures, we play them on the bank holiday monday right at the end of the season - if it's an important game that could easily be the biggest attendance in our division this season. Especially given our closest game is actually on this coming Tuesday night (i.e. midweek).

Disappointing result but never expected a win. Of course Jamille Matt would have scored against us. Although I did enjoy that Oyston FC tried to hide their embarrassment by saying there was more home fans than away fans. Pictures prove otherwise

On the game we never really turned up. Our young players froze and was a disappointing performance. And the "Blackpool fans" who went to the game made no noise, the whole feel of the game was odd and after we went 2-0 down Harriers fans ended up chanting for Oyston out.

Also a special thanks should go to the Blackpool Supporters Trust who have helped raise money for Harriers after we missed out on a big gate receipt.

What was the demographic of Blackpool fans in the ground? I'm just trying to get my head who the actual fuck is still going!

Was hard to tell but seemed like all were older fans. They probably just love attending the games too much to stop.

That must have been bizarre, to be sat in a stadium pretty much unable to see any opposition fans, or judging by the above comments to even hear them. Blackpool sounds like a good example of how not to run a football club, hope they resolve the situation before it is too late.

Just wondering if there were any 1FF Solihull fans down in Yeovil yesterday and if so did Bignot go and clap the fans with teary eyes or anything?
I was in Yeovil on Saturday. Bignot came over to the away end where he was lifted up in the air by the players and a 'Moors Champions 2015-16' scarf was thrown to him, he put it on and then following the celebrations of our comeback he came onto the supporters coaches to thanks us for our support over the years. You have a top manager on your hands.

I'm not sure why Southport fans would be especially happy about being drawn away at Salop myself..

Oldham at home then. They're 22nd in L1, only won 3 games and only scored 9 goals. Fairly confident we can do them.
