Moussa Diarra has been immense for us, Thierry Audel looks class and Bedsente Gomis looks like a great player too - although Audel and Gomis had played in this division before signing for us which helped. So if Donovan Makoma has signed them being already at the club probably helped

Today we had James Dayton, Nathan Manvilla and Jamie Sendles-White on trial.

Also heard we could be selling Steve Azalte and Tristan Abrahams - There has been genuine interest in both players from higher league clubs.

Would be a huge shame to lose Azalte, such a good prospect.

Mabe Diawara. Doesnt speak a word of english and apparently played in Serie B last season.

A player we've had on trial a week or so now finally looks set to sign - Davy Nieskens. A very strong CV and looks like a rugged, experienced centre back, though only 23.
Should be an excellent signing

Apparently we're close to bringing another CB in and when that happens, one will be going out on loan, which will be Callum Howe. I'd be amazed if he didn't join a National League club. Can't see him dropping down to the North, even if there are some FT teams down there now.

our french talisman during pre season 'Trialist B' - AKA Gime Toure, has left us after keates stuttered on offering a contract. he had raw potential, probably akin to Matias Pogba when he joined us, but probably not what we needed now.

i would be happy if he signed for another team in the north west and someone in the conference north would have a potential player there. sods law he plays for Altrincham against us tomorrow!!

A little context - we're a bit desperate. That Makoma lad is all but signed, awaiting paperwork, but worrying that our two long-term injury victims are now on "short-term" deals and considered part of our first-team squad.
