Its a bit ridiculous that Stevenage have lost 6 more games than us and are still in 4th ahead of us - only Doncaster have lost less games than us. Fine margins. Too many 1-1s.

Looking ahead of our fixtures, we've got a favourable run in now. The biggest game remaining is really the Mansfield game; a game I didn't anticipate to be as such. Our last 3 games are versus Notts County, Accrington and Morecambe who will each have nothing to play for by this point.

Win one, lose one is a pretty good record, worth 69 points a season! Better than drawing all the time and having large unbeaten records!
Imagine losing 20+ games in a season and still getting promoted.

It proves that 4 places is too much in this division. 71 points might end up getting promoted! Bradford got promoted with 69 points 4 years ago!

We'll be lucky to have anything to play for by the time we play you. We need 6 points from Doncaster and Wycombe away.

Ferguson out?
The juries out.

Considering promotion to the championship was his aim when he came he's already 2 years behind his target.

get to play Rochdale and Gillingham next season. Yay.

And well done Plymouth too on also finally getting out of this league, I hope Portsmouth and Blackpool join us. Some proper clubs

No disrespect to any club in this division but I am glad to be leaving behind Morecambe, Newport, Accrington etc. That may sound arrogant and big headed, but it's just how I feel.

Congratulations Doncaster.

Congrats Donny and Plymouth. Comfortably the best two sides in this division. :)
Cheers, though we are not mathatically up yet. If the gods are kind Bradley will get a last minute winner on Friday at Fratton Park, which will make 14 away victories this season.

If Plymouth beat us at FP are you promoted? Because that could provoke some nasty scenes..

Congratulations Doncaster.
Having spent most of my life supporting a club that has spent the majority of that time in the top division, I take a different view about the Accrington's, Wycombe's and Morecambe's. I now realise that these are proper local clubs, and I have a lot of time for them. The premiership clubs are no longer anchored in their local communities. What I won't miss are some of the awful pitches, full of mole hills or more suited to rugby.

Not automatically, only if, I think, Stevenage and Luton lose. I'd hope it would not lead to nasty scenes, especially as it is likely you are coming up with us.

For selfish reasons I hope we win but do not get automatic on Friday, as I am going on Monday when Newport visit.

We're in pole position now for the play offs. 6 points ahead of 8th place and 2 wins over Easter will virtually guarantee it. 3 wins from 5 will mathematically guarantee it.

Danny Hylton is on 13 bookings now; so he's got 1 life left. If he gets 15, he will miss the play offs, so he now needs to be seriously careful.

With Doncaster, Plymouth, Portsmouth and possibly ourselves getting out of here next season, its bound to be a weaker division next season, unless Coventry can sort their shit out.

No offence but I don't think Luton being promoted or not has any bearing on the relative strength of the division.

You avin a laff?
The average attendance of this league will be humiliating without those mentioned above, leaving a league more aligned with the conferences figures....therefore affecting its strength and watchability and appeal surely?
