Any of the unseeded teams at home would do me nicely, best chance to progress. However wouldn't mind any of them away either, apart from I'd like to try and avoid Cambridge United at the Abbey.

Someone knows the fella who warms up the balls!

Sheffield on a Wednesday will be popular our end, especially with previous on our side.

Derby away for us. Decent draw.

We've won every time we've played at Pride Park. Ok, so we've only played there twice but we won 3-1 there on Boxing Day 2002 in the league, and then won 1-0 in The League Cup in 2005. Would be nice to make it a hat-trick. :bg:

It's just the long travel for me but Cambridge is actually quite an interesting tie, how much do you reckon tickets will be for this one?

And then knock Spurs out after it like last time, before Justin Whittle's elbow welcomed Alan Shearer to Blundell Park!

We don't usually do good discounts on cup games, so i'd imagine the price will be more than you might hope - usually league prices are about £20 for seats. I doubt you'll get the terrace unless you tell us you're bringing more than 1,200.

I would be very surprised if Sheffield Wednesday didn't bring more than 1200.

Pretty sure Wednesday will sell out whatever you give them to be honest.

Home to Millwall. Best them away last year so this'll be a doddle. :bl:

Better lock up our horses though...

Enjoy their away stand :2thumb:

After being relegated from the conference you couldn't have been sent anywhere worse. Poor buggers

We've got Port Vale at home, and although it's nothing exciting, I'm pretty happy. I'd say they're probably the weakest team in the 'northern seeded' section - similar to our fixture with Chesterfield in the 1st round last season.

Possibly although we haven't signed anyone yet as only got our manager 48 hours ago. Will our Monaco loanees and Portuguese boys fancy Carlisle away on a Tuesday night mind! Should be looking to progress though I'd hope.

I know Villa had a bad season but i didn't know they were bad enough to be relegated 5 leagues in one season!

Nice to get a home draw being the Northern team we are. Sheffield Wednesday will sell out our away end making for a good atmosphere and hopefully a game for the TV as it will be played on the Wednesday due to them playing on the Sunday before.

We got the team Aber wanted Bristol City at home.
Brilliant draw for you lot. If you look at our record in this cup over the past few seasons, then you'll realize you've already won this cup tie.

Has there been any more info on the EFL Trophy? They promised within a week further details, but nothing!

I know its going to be a group stage, but when, where, who...?

We've only got past the first round once since 2010/11, how does your record look like?

Does anyone care? They shouldn't.
