Agree, although isn't he left sided? If so it's redundant as McCall is adamant they have to be right sided, I've never seen a manager talk as much about specialist left and right sided CB's as him.

Pretty sure he was right-sided or the centre of 3 for us. Unless my memory is seriously bad. JO'C played LCB for us.

EEL was quality in the first half of the season, cracking signing if you get that EEL. After he signed a new deal at Wolves he did go a bit off the boil but that's as much due to the others form just not slipping.

I have a suspicion we might loan a CB from the EPL given Rahic's previous comments around seeing what will happen in August as well as recruiting as much as poss in June/early July as we did.

I wouldn't have an issue with Greer joining as a squad player.

Bola is great fun. Fast, skilful, strong and a great left foot on him.

Defensively he can be pretty suspect, but that's the trade off I guess. He should be good for you, particularly if you play in a way that allows him to do lots of attacking.

As far as I'm concerned the less business the better. As things stand we have a better squad than we did when we won the league 2 seasons ago and that was after we had a complete rebuild in the Summer and took 2-3 months to gel.

If we can keep the majority of this team together then hopefully we can get off to a good start and improve on our record 2 seasons ago.

We can let a few fringe players go who won't get any game time, to trim the squad a bit but apart from that hopefully no other business! 7 of our strongest 11 should be back after not featuring much at all last season due to injury or idiotically being sent out on loan for non footballing reasons.

He's obsessed with them 'playing football', we would have definitely made more of an effort to keep McArdle if he wasn't.

Or Vincelot is partnering NKP an Greer is back up to him. There's Reeves, Law, Dieng, Devine, Pybus, maybe Taylor who can all play in the middle of the park in various capacities. Some would say we have too many CMs.

I'm reasonably optimistic after seeing what we've done. Keeper is massive though, need to sign a good one or the alternative is David bloody Cornell. Don't think we'll get Crooks as he seemed to enjoy it at your place last year.

Jorge Texeira left to join St Truiden yesterday (huge shock that he's moved to another Roland owned club). Not all that bothered. There's 3 or 4 players probably ahead of him anyway.

That will free up some money as he was one of the higher earners, I reckon Robinson will use it to try and tempt Ben Reeves. We desperately need a striker now with Ajose going to Bury, I'm not arsed about him going as he obviously doesn't want to be here and probably isn't good enough anyway but he was more than adequate back-up.
