Started off well first 15 and should have scored, after that it’s been horse shit, very happy to only be 1 down at HT as every time Mansfield break they look like getting in but thankfully always picking the wrong pass apart from once. How their guy put the sitter wide for 2-0 I don’t know, I think my 12 year old would’ve scored that.
Our back 4 understandably looks dodgy as fuck as well, can’t see Mansfield not scoring again and I don’t see us getting 2 either but I’d be delighted to be wrong.

Hamilton should have scored too. Thomas is about 15 yards out with only the keeper to beat and no defender near him- 'should' score. Decent start by us to the second half. Our only defensive player playing in their natural position has been subbed for a winger. Couldn't make it up!

Well it sounds like we gave it a good go with a very patched up team. 0-1 isn't a terrible result under the circumstances. Mansfield have a bit of a dirty streak about them but you can't argue with their quality. By far the best team we've played on two occasions now and I wouldn't be surprised if they went on to win the league.

Was never gonna win that with the injuries, but Mansfield sounded solid so fair play to them. Go take that title off Lincoln now please, Stags.
