For me I’d never choose ifollow over a game that I could get to, I know it’s half the price of a ticket and you can watch it in the warm at home but there’s nothing like being at the game watching it from the stands, no matter how bad the weather I will always still choose to go to Blundell Park and watch it properly.
A guy at my work went to the Swindon game but then him and his mate stayed in the bar for the whole game and watched it on the screen in there instead because it was freezing in the stands.
I just thought to myself while he was telling me, what’s the fucking point in going if your gonna sit in the bar and not feel any of the atmosphere outside?

I’m never going to be able to make a Tuesday game (unless we magically get Bradford and Harrogate come down and up) so I do quite like the Tuesday idea. I think whoever is going to Tuesday games are likely to go regardless of it it’s £10 on iFollow or not.

Weekends are a different kettle of fish and shouldn’t be touched.

iFollow is a weird one. I'm local but have had a tight budget this year so it's an alternative for me when I could normally only afford to see one maybe two home games a month. Having said that if the option wasn't there at all, I'd be fine with it, but it turns the odd game that would normally be a radio job to a stream one while also giving the club a bit of cash. I scarcely travel away these days so it helps in that regard. Overall I can see it eventually doing more harm than good. They should probably charge a full match ticket for it.

I think we've got one injury too many at the minute and if Mansfield attack us the way they did at their place, I don't think our makeshift defence will cope. The Exeter win would definitely soften the blow of a loss tomorrow but if we could once again manage a result then it would set us up for what could be a very important January.

We also haven't really played that well in any of those four back to back wins, so we're due a defeat. We seem to be missing Vernam. I think without him then we'll need to play Pringle and hope he is on form to stand any chance of really harming that Mansfield defence.

I reckon we're going to need another Exeter-like performance from James McKeown to get anything from the game tomorrow.

Fast forward to 3 minutes in on this video to see just how good his performance on Saturday was.

For one-sidedness reminded me of Everton v Grimsby in 1984...

It wasn't quite that bad but not far off. McKeown's performance was on a par with Batchy's that night though.

I’m really looking forward to this one but I think it’s gonna be one game too many for our patched up side and with the type of football Mansfield are playing going off what their fans are saying.
Would happily take a draw but I expect a narrow defeat 1-2 or 2-3 but will happily be proved wrong.
Plus whatever the result, a new series of Luther starts at 9PM so it’s gonna be a good day no matter what. :bg1:

We have a vulnerability due to our defenders not trusting our 2nd choice goalkeeper, if the management team have done a decent job on the homework and you don’t let us play from the back like Swindon you have a chance.

Maybe we are due a dip in form now too? I’m not confident we will win tomorrow.

It’s a real shame to miss, cheers police.

I’m nervous, we always struggle at Grimsby and we were off colour against Swindon against an inform team. If we go behind early it could be a long afternoon

Someone said we’d sold 1200, not sure how true or not mind.

You were given an allocation of 1062 in advance and didn't sell out. Pay on the day though.

I'm all for that as long as it's draping over the top deck of the promotion bus of 2013.

Can have a little joint promotion party if you want, not bothered about winning the league, just going up in whatever capacity possible

This is the game we lose I reckon. We’ve not win in Grimsby since about 1987 and we never even look like putting a performance in. I’d take a draw now with Grimsby being in the form that there in too.

I’ve skipped it anyway, 1pm KO away on NYD is bullshit.
