Fun first half in E10. Wigan awarded a stonewall penalty in the first 30 seconds and Humphries smashed it against the post. End to end stuff thereafter with Orient having the better chances and scoring a good goal via Shaq Forde. Sucker punch just before half time as Brandon Cooper lets the ball bounce, gives away a free kick and Wigan rifle an equaliser from outside the box. All to play for, but I reckon Wigan will end up winning it due to our profligacy.

Exeter the poorest side I’ve seen at our place in some time.. they have zero confidence. We haven’t had to get out of second gear. We’ve scored a few nice goals but with a better final ball this could have been anything.

Well, when your unbeaten run ends, you may as well end it in style, I say.

Dont think we have that in our locker. Charles apart our forward line is weak. ....Bodvarson will be on the bench despite him being head and shoulders better than either Adeboyejo or Nlundulu. Maghoma who has been our standout player is a booking short of suspension and with two aways to follow against Oxford and Portsmouth may be rested with the now fit duo of Dempsey and Mendes Gomes vying for his shirt. Apart from Johnston out for the season we have a clean bill of health. Take a 1-0 2-0 and no injuries and move on.
You what mate? Told you. We’re shit

Told you.

It’s just all so predictable.
With a better final ball it could have been double figures. We put so many crosses straight out of play. You’ve got zero chance of staying up on that performance. Need a change of manager or some serious work in the Jan transfer window… or both

21 shots to their 10, 14 corners to their 2, 73% possession to their 27% and we walk away with another defeat. It can't go on like this. Shrewsbury fans will walk away wondering how on earth they won that...but that happens most weeks. Our poor striker recruitment for the second season running has put us right in the shit.

What's more concerning is that I thought Shrewsbury were absolutely dreadful! The Port Vale benevolent fund strikes again.

Agree they were piss poor. The first 25 we were slightly better, like a friendly at walking pace.
Once we got that first goal it could have been anything. Paris again the stand out player thought Dempsey looked up for it when he came on.
Big big two games coming up. Squad in a good place...........happy days

Deserved win against Cambridge. First half bit of a non event but we dialled it up second half and scored a couple of quick goals. Keeper mistake made it interesting but overall deserved. Everyone breathing a bit easier at Sixfields now.

It’s bad, that was our best chance to end this run now until 2024 and we have blown it again.

Copy and paste from most weeks though. Time for the discussion maybe on Crosby.

Again, the football is good until we hit that penalty area. We're outplaying teams but he's had 10 days to work on being more clinical and ruthless and that's what they've come up with.

we give Reading their first away win in over a year - poor stuff, made all the worse by the fact that both goals were jammy deflections.

But the fact of the matter is, we were completely toothless in attack again, and this team looks a fair bit less than the sum of its parts.

I was expecting this season to be a transitional one, with Bloomfield still a rookie manager, but I have to say that I'm not enjoying some of the mediocrity served up this campaign. Oh well, could be worse and all that.

What’s most worrying is how easy teams score against us.
They really aren’t working hard.
We are busting a gut, and are obviously trying, but just look unlikely to score.
He’s not lost the dressing room or anything like that, they are giving their all,but it can’t continue like this, I think he’ll have until Christmas.

Great win for us today, wasn't really a typical 3-0 game. We had spells in the match where we were in control, we were clinical and we defended pretty well but Fleetwood will most definitely be wondering how they didn't manage to score.

Was a very similar sort of game to our win at Cheltenham, that shouldn't really have been a 3-0 game either. Some very solid defending by us today, a lot of blocks to deny goal bound efforts, just seen that Fleetwood had 31 shots, I'd image a fair few of them were blocked, certainly felt that way.

We started well and took the lead early before they grew into the game and went close a handful of occasions before the break without managing to score. Was a great finish by Reid for the opener. Second half they hit the crossbar before we managed to double our lead. Good work by Hemmings, pressed the defender before playing in Ben Thompson who took a touch before beating the keeper. Fleetwood continued to press, managed to hit the woodwork again and have a goal disallowed before a late counter attack saw MacDonald play List in one on one to make it 3.

1-1 probably a fair result in the end with Wigan, could've been a goal down after a minute but equally we've had IMO enough chances to win that, but Wigan were a constant threat - Humphrys in particular run us ragged a few times and scored a superb equaliser, when he went off injured it was a relief - Everything Wigan did going forward went through him and when he went off they lost their spark. Second half again we don't do enough in the final third to win the game despite dominating for long spells.

Wigan were an odd side - constant threat going forward and to be fair in the first half they had us on the ropes until we scored, and we had to take 6 yellow cards in the end to stop them breaking a number of times, but over played alot at the back and got themselves into alot of trouble, shortly after we scored we pressed them playing out and Shaq Forde IMO should've done alot better.

Whilst we are the worst team in the league in terms of attack, I take some comfort from the fact no one has hammered us.

A good point today despite being so ineffective and useless in the final third.

Quite a few thrashing in the division today..

Thought we were hard done by at Derby, thought we were worth a point. However we gifted both goals to them with absolute calamitous individual errors, so can’t have too many complaints.

I like Mangan a lot, but I just don’t think he’s the man to take us forward. I’d like him to stay as assistant though and learn under a new manager with fresh ideas of how to get our attacking players synced up

Second half more absorbing than exciting. Shame after a wildly open first 45. Deserved point apiece for two sides I expect to be plonked right in the middle of the table come the end of the season.

We were absolutely outstanding from the first whistle to the last.

We're going to turn matches into fights - if you're up to it you'll probably win with your quality. If you're not then we're going to make your life a nightmare.

No arguments with Street's red, and Oxford can have none with their lad's either. Can understand why their players were unhappy with the second though when the lino half raised his flag before putting it down. Don't get me wrong, our lad wasn't offside, but can see why they thought he might be.

I don't want to get too carried away but I'm pretty sure we're going to win the League
Looks like sacking your manager was a good move.
Can you tell our board please?

I thought we gave Barnsley a bloody good match. Went 1-0 up through a definite penalty. Jensen called into action for a few long rangers, Makama missed a 1 on 1 for us. We allowed Barnsley a lot of the ball, but kept them contained.

2nd half was more open, Barnsley started to look more dangerous. A mad 10 minutes and they score two, felt Adelakun could have done better for both to be fair.

However it's great to.see us push on and get a deserved equaliser. First time the fans have been chanting way after the whistle, recognising the effort.

Wasn't expecting anything, but that was a gutsy display.

Also met Mick Harford in cosy club who was up from Luton seeing how McAtee was doing for Barnsley

A good point in the end for Carlisle.
Charlton had the majority of possession and the better chances, but I felt once we equalised Charlton seemed to sit back and just want the point.
We're struggling with injuries and suspensions so was well pleased with the spirit of our team.
Welcome to Cumbria for the Piataks, they got a rousing reception before kick off.

We were absolutely useless. I’d go as far as to say pathetic, which is worrying given we’ve just got a new manager…

Linesman or not, we could have played that game again, against 10 men all game and still not scored. United were dreadful.

Cheltenham did their bit and fought. Clarke has got you playing which is testament. I’d say with some confidence you’ll be fine.

Another nail in the Dino coffin.
We were absolutely awful today. Like conference north standard.
If this clown does not go soon we will go down.
Player’s arguing with each other and Stockton shouting at the bench.
Hamer out for 3 months.
So glad I didn’t go.

As bad as we were today, two key decisions went against us.

Firstly, to allow Blackpool's second when the scorer is a mile offside is criminal. Then, at 2-0 down, to be denied a blatant penalty and have a man sent off moments later killed the game. A side as good as Blackpool at this level were always going to punish us but the officials were fucking dreadful today.

Fail to beat a dire Burton side on Tuesday and I have the horrible feeling our season will implode.

Our wretched home form continues, having said that this scoreline in no way reflected the game. Fleetwood dominated large periods of this match but were hit by counter attacks and fair play to them they took their chances. We had a number of really good scoring opportunities and failed so right back in the brown stuff. Great result by Cheltenham today. I reckon all the teams from just below the half way mark to the bottom are candidates for relegation- take your pick !
