Not sure if we can win at Gillingham tomorrow...

You might well if you have any decent wide players. Our full backs at present dont seem to realise that part of their job is marking at corners and defending. Only good going forward.

you can't beat the old "big man/little man" combination up front.
with the right service they can mix it up in various options.
whether its a Hylton/Lee or a Collins/Lee in a more mobile partnership
the Hylton/Collins pairing is now too predictable to the more switched on defences in this higher league ..with both players wanting the "star man" award I am sceptical that last season's performance from them both can be replicated .
I wonder how many games into the season we go before jones finds the right formation?
I reckon the squad is adequate enough for a play off place once he plays to our strengths
and sticks to playing the best team..not the best players.

Realistically we need to be targetting a win against Cov. They haven't started great, while we've looked ok but missing too many chances. Once we find our shooting boots we're a match for anyone in this league, as we create plenty. Wouldn't imagine the side will be too different from Wednesday, but I'd bring Reilly in for Parker and go 4-3-3 as we did at Accrington to great effect. I'll go 3-1 Gills.

Scunny away today. After the start we’ve made and Tuesday’s result along with Scunthorpe’s at home to Fleetwood I think we can be forgiven going into this confident of all three points, but I’ve always maintained that a point away from home in any division no matter who you’re playing is not to be sniffed at.

Big chance for Adeboyejo to stake his claim for Bradshaw’s regular spot if he starts. Hoping Scunny getting rid of Daws hasn’t had a positive effect on their team morale.

If we concede early, the game could end 5 or 6-0 again. We conceded 2 in 3 minutes at Sunderland and then 3 in 6 minutes against Fleetwood. Our team falls apart the second we concede. If we can hang on for a while then we may be able to keep it down to 2 or 3 goals.

Reading the comments from the Shrewsbury manager pre-match I sense they're coming to Fortress Kenny today with a different mindset from the other clubs we've played so far this season, who understandably came for the win.

Askey is talking about the home fans getting on the players backs and frustrating the crowd. I can't remember anything out of the ordinary for a long time of Luton fans getting on their teams backs in the first 20 minutes. We're not in the Conference any more! They did finish third on 87 points only a few months ago... is the mindset the reason why they're languishing so far this season?

As for us, I can't see the need more many/any changes really from Tuesday, although I'd like to see James Justin given a role in midfield.

Given we played them Tuesday I can say they are well organised and physically strong but we did create enough in the first half to have won, second half they were much stronger and adventurous, if you take your early chances you should win if not expect an uncomfortable afternoon

Lee Novak starting up front on his own, Barnsley still won’t have conceded after today.

Steady on...from what I saw in the Posh match you are no where near that quality. You wll see when you have played a few more teams n this division.

1-0 down at home yet again.

We don’t seem to score when on top yet every single time concede the first shot against us from guess what, awful defending yet again.

Half-time and 2 Sunderland coaches haven't arrived yet after deciding to drive through the centre of London. I'm stuck at the main road waiting to direct them rather than being inside the stadium.

Not happy.

We have been really poor, lacking ideas. Don’t think Shrewsbury have been much better to be honest but the penalty might decide it if we don’t do something. Disappointing half after a positive result on Tuesday, very lacklustre

Scunthorpe 2-2 Barnsley.

Never unhappy with a point away from home, absolutely delighted with this one though after being 2-0 down.

0 points from 9 at home. Losing at home to Southend and Accrington is not acceptable.

Southend are a horrible, ugly team - diving, cheating & time wasting from the first half. But it worked for them and they come away with a deserved 3 points.

We are absolutely awful. We are really in trouble

Well played to Wycombe. Completely deserved their three points and probably should be disappointed that they only scored the two goals.

Your point should end with “yet “

You can only get 5 loan players in and even that needs to be done sharpish...otherwise you have to wait until the January transfer window to buy the sort of players that could make a challenge.

Bizarre game really, Shrewsbury's second goal has to be seen to believed. Proper blooper reel stuff.

We were poor first half but excellent in the second I thought. Had we tucked away the penalty and not given away the ridiculous second goal we'd have won very comfortably but we like to make things dramatic.

Shrewsbury looked neat and tidy but didn't offer much going forward. The most tactically negative of the teams we have played thus far by some distance.

OMG, an actual, literal win. Great googly moogly. Dunno if we were good, BCFC were dogshite, or a potent cocktail of the two - but I think you could say we needed that.

Right, I’m just off to find some bog roll to stem the flow of this nosebleed I seem to have acquired. 17th!
