Won 3-0. Hard to judge against that level of opposition. First team start pre season on Saturday.

Good crowds at our preseason games so far 1200 at Lex and 1800 at Cefn druids I believe. Bodes well for crowds this season.

Woking played our kids in the end which probably disappointed them as they were expecting a full team.

We played Hemel Hempstead twice today to my surprise, was only expecting the one game...

Game 1...Hayes and Yeading 1-4 Hemel Hempstead...good to see Ish Ehui playing for us and hope he's resigned. Other than that we were crap.

Game 2...Hayes and Yeading 0-2 Hemel Hempstead...again we were crap

It's was our first outing on a pretty hot day against a team 2 divisions higher. A lot we need to improve on.

On we go to Tuesday night in the cage again against Welwyn Garden City

Encouraging display from us. Think a defeat was a bit harsh. Ryan Jennings and Andre Johnson caught the eye.

Guiseley 1 - Leeds United 5

Both fielded different teams in each half. Leeds only missing Chris Wood and new boy Vernon Anita from their 1st team squad. Some promising 'trialists' for Guiseley along with some of our acadamy players. Leeds looked very slick and polished with their accurate passing and great movement. Lovely aftrnoon for the 3500 crowd.

1-0 win at home to Fulham's under-23's. Dylan Kearney who's on trial grabbed the winner. Any comments on him GarthK_HYUFC?

Looks like we played two different sides, with two trialists featuring.

Lost 2-1 at home to a strong-ish Blackburn side - was well pleased with the effort though. As a Rovers fan wrote on our forum, Richie Bennett made Scotland international Charlie Mulgrew look like a Sunday League player.
We had a Scottish centre-back, Coll Donaldson, play 90 mins, but he's way too good for our level - if we signed him it'd be the signing of the summer.

No idea apart from its right on the border with Spain by the Med.

Apparently many teams go out to this particular place.

We decimated PREMIER LEAGUE Watford's first team U17s 1-1 yesterday. We're going to piss this Tinpot League, and just wait until the investment comes through.

Started our preseason with the usual curtain raiser against local side Cheadle Heath Nomads.

Comfortable 3-0 win all goals coming in the 1st half. Jimmy Ball and Darren Stephenson (2).

2nd half mixture of first and youth teamers.

Dylan came through our youth system bagging aload of goals on the way.

He came into the first team but was never really given the chance on the field which is a shame as he has a lot of promise. Iirc he bagged a hattrick in our 5-2 win over Gosport on our final game in the National South.

Give him the chance and he can shine! Best of luck to him and you guys for the upcoming season
