Loving the weather and cycling around on an electric bike is even nicer. Especially seeing the Lycra crew nearly dying. :)

Lush innit mate ? Don't understand these whinging weirdos, I've had a lovely day in the garden and in a bit I'm cooking some jerk chicken on the barbie. Might pop down the pub later and sit in a nice beer garden :)

The grey clouds had been pissing me off lately along with the wind and as clear blue skys are rare here so far this year so I intend to enjoy them. People around me seem to complain whatever the weather is.

Don't understand the appeal of those electric bikes myself, it half defeats the purpose of cycling. I cycle for a combination of saving money to and from work (around £60 a month) and exercise. Having a bike which takes the exercise away, you may as well go the whole hog, spend a bit more money and buy a moped.

Then again, I don't wear Lycra and never have.

I don't think it takes all the exercise away...

True, I have used one. But when you put the electric motor on full (at the expense of battery life of course) you can get away with making no effort at all depending on the terrain.

I had to get it for my job as it was in the advertisement but it was definitely worth it. Bristol has ridiculous hills everywhere and so cycling around all day isnt particularly fun. Plus it has a nice little boost for getting ahead of everything and they can go on the cycle paths unlike Mopeds.

Plus they still need a fair bit of effort on big hills and I've lost weight since using it although that wasn't particularly a concern anyway. Plus cycling today was lovely. :) I probably wouldn't have got one just for a commute but now I have one I think they're worth the money.

I've got some beer for later.
Headache/hayfever then beer? Not a good combo! :D

Mind you I was the same through the night sitting in my underpants with the fan on and having a few drams that tasted of caramel and butterscotch and it was heaven!

Usually the headache comes after the beer but I thought I'd mix it up a bit today, mate.

Well, being a Scotsman, you'll be pale blue right? :bg:
Absolutely, and I intend on staying that way! The only time I've ever been tanned was when I was in Greece 26 years back going to the beach daily, and the only reason I did that as most women were topless there!

I don't even know what getting your ears syringed means. Has he ran outta veins and has to resort to his ears?
