Very good interview as usual from Coops. Honest, straightforward and no nonsense. We're not the moneybags of this league, and it's good to see him clear that up. Top man.

Too right, I mean have a wage bill bigger than ours obviously means you're not the moneybags. Everyone knows we only speed £100 a week on our players.

I've no idea where the whole Moneybags thing came from with FGR. They are the little club on the hill who pay people in good wishes and sunbeams. The only staff they have is Mr Cooper who is manager, physio and Kitman, Mr Dale Vince who makes the tea and man's the turnstile and one other man, the titular Forest Gump Green who mows and rolls the pitch.

And that's a bit out of order about the book tbf, that book was to raise money for a deaf charity wasn't it?

All of Forest Green's players are milk men and postmen, who play for free and simply for their love of the game.

A wage budget around seven times the size of ours, and yet you still can't put us away.

They can't beat us either, try as they might. Even when we are incredibly shit and have 9 men on the pitch. They have a mental block against proper clubs.

Dread to think what'll happen if they ever make the FL.

How big really is the wage budget?

In our conference title winning season our budget was over stated all the time, It was second biggest (behind Luton) but it was defiantly not £2.1m

For reference, our budget that season started at £1.4m but went up to £1.6m by the end due to bonuses. If you include all Staff cost and not just playing staff it was over £2.3m so maybe the £2.1 includes all staff at the club.

Either way it's obvious FGR have a huge playing budget, and looking at the competition now I imagine it's the largest.

Any idea what Lincoln and Tranmere are playing with?

Our "wage bill" is £2.1m.. But keep in mind that includes an extensive academy, placements in China, extensive amounts of bar and support staff etc. So our playing budget can be at max half of that.

Forest Greens accounts showed £2.4m with none of the infrastructure we have in place, so you'd assume the actual wage bill was close to £2m than £1.5m.

I think we'll be around £750k now after the 3 loan signings we've done off the back of the FA Cup.

You've got to laugh at these BELTs trying to pad out and justify their ridiculous budgets with 'infrastructure' and 'cup run' figures.

New signing tonight- Omar Bugiel from Worthing. Strong, quick, scores for fun, occasionally prone to rash challenges. Was linked with a number of clubs during the last six weeks but I didn't see this one coming.

Not sure about the cost, undoubtedly it'll have been a good deal for the Rebels. I hope they got a sell on clause.

More chance of him getting snaffled by a championship club. He was even excellent tackling back.

That's his game. Out of four NLP match reports I've written at Worthing this season, he was man of the match three times and scored in all of them. I was very surprised when he hadn't gone by the end of January, there were scouts at every game.

Didn't see one from Rovers, mind you!

We don't scout. I think Cooper has a subscription to all of the local papers in areas covered by the Isthmian League. It's the only reason I can think of why he blew 30k on Carthorse Mullings. At least Bugiel seems to have an awful lot more about him.

Well that's utter shite and you know it. I know as a fact we scouted Mullings a fair bit before we signed him this season, Scott Bartlett spoke highly of him as well, problem is when we watched hm he kept playing well and scoring for Chelmsford which didn't happen at Havant or for us. Still young though and could easily come good.

Bugiel was recommended by Scott Lindsey's mate Jmmy Bullard about a month ago, we've kept an eye on him since and then invited him to train with us.

Negative fans who are always looking get on their own players backs disgust me. Some of our home supporters are a joke.

How many games you been to this season? Do you actually want us to do well?

Or would you rather we do shit so you can have a whinge and use your hilarious sarcasm and wit to put our own team down?

You seem like one of those "fans" who actually want us to lose cos you love sticking the knife in and being a negative cnut more then actually winning. Bet there were a few that were gutted we got those 2 late goals and that Bugiel looked so good, would have been another great chance to have a go and sound clever if that hadn't happened, wouldn't it?

You ought to get over to the parkour centre in Gloucester, given how many conclusions you enjoy jumping to. So, whatcha doing over half term? Fight ya on the trampoline. Winner gets to keep the other's special socks.

Phone home!

Oh dear.

Point made I think. Us winning must have ruined your weekend. Oh well people like you, and sadly there are quite a few in our fanbase, can always save up all your sarcastic digs, whinging and negativity for the next time we lose, so no need to worry.

I'm gonna keep going to games, have a few beers and support my side. Cos we've never had it this fucking good.

Bounce! Bounce! Bounce! It's really odd you think I don't want FGR to succeed. I do, but the club isn't beyond criticism. We're racking up a huge, huge debt and are likely to be selling the crown jewels to become tenants. Don't you get it? Meantime, we are blowing loads on wages and have slashed 30k up the wall on Mullings.

When daddy Dale has had enough, you gonna turn up and watch FGR sharing with Tavs? Sustainable Forest Green Rovers is anything but. It'll end in tears.
