Perfect away performance stiffled Tranmere and the two goals were superb first may have been a cross though.

Tranmere were playing against 12 men not the ref their own fans jumped on the players back too often.

Wide open now.

Good to see Rooney score another penalty. I can't remember him missing one yet this season. He's rubbish at them apparently.

He does like to just hit them down the middle and hope for the best. Not sure he's actually any good at them.

Barry kicked his one in nicely though. Decent keeper went the right way, but still couldn't get to it.

The Judas missed 6 out 11 for us.

He must like playing for us...

To be honest after last season and all his misses I was a bit nervous when he stepped up today. Last minute, lots of pressure. He seems to have got rid of his hoodoo anyway!

And Judas? Come on...

Went back on his word. Said he was signing a new contract when he got back of his hols. If he'd just said he was moving on Chester fans would have accepted that, young family and all.

Parkin eventually took out one too many of our players and was deservedly sent off (he was down the tunnel before the referee had a chance to show him his 2nd yellow).
And down in KFC before the full time whistle was blown.

A large number of said Chester fans booed him every home game. He probably hates you lot.

Thing was it was clear that was how he was going to ref it early but you kept on with the sort of physical stuff he was giving. When you did play football you looked more than handy so I reckon you contributed to your own downfall.
Battling through that might have the opposite effect to the Lincoln defeat. Ellis looked solid and made good decisions. And Manne at the death!
Still only half way home but the miles are flying by.

I agree to a point, but there were free-kicks given for things that didn't even come close to being physical. If this guy was refereeing our match against Lincoln, there would've been nobody left on the pitch - they were proper tackles.
Fair play to Cooper, he's got more tricks in his book than most managers, but a lot of it is to frustrate the opposition (and wind up the crowd). That, combined with a frighteningly incompetent ref, meant that playing football was never top of the agenda.

No we've already taken our four points off them for this season and improved our goal difference by +5.
His red card has to weaken them to some extent
Next game is Nuneaton in trophy and back for next league game, best thing for us Mills rests him for trophy,so happydays and glad to be in trophy for once.
Sounded like York played well today with Aldershot keeper getting Man of match

I just noticed your next league game is Maidstone so another draw would suit us best I think. You certainly seem a stronger team with the latest recruits.

Barrows defending for our winner was truly shocking, gave our biggest player all of the space in the world to head it home.

He split opinion but was never booed, don't know where you've got that from.

I thought that with Manne coming on late Barrow didn't adapt/pick him up properly so he got free a fair few times before the goal too.

Well we were absolutely rancid, Solihull looked so comfortable it was unbelievable.
Home fans and staff were a good bunch, and I love that weird mish-mash of a stadium. The bizarre two-tiered main stand and the little area of seating with tarpaulin over the top are great features.

Like I said higher up ignore Deva Chat, it's full of trolls, crackpots and deluded individuals. I ignore most of the posters, but do read Anders for a well-balanced and accurate report which is better than in any of the papers. I took comfort in that we were reffed out of the game by his decision not to send Miller off. No Dover fans coming on to dispute than speaks volumes.

Feel like York may be making another visit next season, pretty sure there are 4 worse teams than them in the division from what I saw today

I'm confident the squad we have now, whilst still not particularly good, is definitely of a better standard than bottom 4 of the Conference.

Unfortunately we have a 4 point handicap to work with because our stubborn fucking clown of a chairman left it about 6 months too late to sack the worst manager this club has ever had, so it's touch and go whether we can get out of this now.

Love reading the bitter Barrow fans on our forum obviously have nothing better to do, still enjoying the win.

I sincerely hope you stay up. I was in Benidorm when we played at yours in October. You were the club that scored the first goal we conceded in 9 games. I've actually stayed at a B & B in Bootham Gardens, but never been to your ground to see a match.

There's still a third of the season to go and as long as you play as well as you did against us (and appear to have done against Dover and Barrow) against your relegation rivals then you'll be fine

Agreed, he hardly makes them unsaveable for the keeper. He does take responsibility though, never goes hiding even when he's playing shite.

Yeah, it can be infuriating when he's not having a good game, but ultimately it's Rooney's best attribute. He never hides and always wants the ball.

What a result for us. With Lincoln's fixtures piling up one cup win after another, this title race is still on.

I wouldn't be surprised. Dover are experts at gamesmanship and cheating.
