Belting result for us today. Can't really call this title race right now. I think Lincoln are inadvertingly hurting themselves with this cup run. If any of the teams in touch put a run together over the last 15 games or so, it's there to be won.

I think we'll be there or there abouts. Whether we've left ourselves a bit too much to do with that injury hit period remains to be seen.

Hard to believe how a ref can be so bad for both sides! Ruined it in many ways, and seemed to give almost everything - even basic corners and shoves - the wrong way. Our penalty was never a penalty, though we should have had one when Russell cleaned out our midfielder and came away with a free-kick.

Apart from 3 set-pieces for the goals, I'll have to say that FGR didn't impress me. Is that what every game's like, just niggly fouls and rolling around screaming? No wonder our players were getting frustrated - I guess that was the tactic, but it's awful. Wishart and Pinnock look good, Cooper is wank.

As for us, I think it's the first time we've started with a lone striker all season, and it was lacking something. Probably gave the wingers too much space towards the end, but we didn't do too badly. We probably edged it, but a draw would be fair.

We changed our style a bit, if we'd tried to play football out from the back it would have played into your hands. Was never gonna be pretty, main thing was to get the points.

I mean, I predicted a 3-0 loss so it's better than I expected. That counts for something right?

sounds like we deserved the win?
in a decent run of form now.. relegation fears GONE. Keates' revolution marches on

We absolutely deserved the win. All over them in the first half. More even in the second once Penn had gone off to be fair, and they did look more dangerous but we still had all the decent chances.

Didn't deserve to lose that. Beyond me why Miller wasn't sent off either.

Decent win for us, Gateshead were poor until their subs came on then they seemed to liven up a bit, hitting the post and bar! Looks like an ACL injury for Racine as he gave away the penalty, real shame as he looked assured and commanding at the back, just what we needed!

Big result. Gateshead may feel aggrieved as it wasn't a 3-1 game and they had a 10 minute spell in the second half where they did everything but score. Shame for Racine - did an air kick, took their lad out and has apparently done his ACL, so he may be back with you soon FGR.

At least Chris was there, and is spot on that FGR did what was needed. Game was a farce at times, and the ref could hardly have got more wrong.

How did you think FGR played then?

0-0 and probably a fair result. We weren't at our best today but York were solid and a lot better than they were at their place in October. Parkin eventually took out one too many of our players and was deservedly sent off (he was down the tunnel before the referee had a chance to show him his 2nd yellow).

Feel like York may be making another visit next season, pretty sure there are 4 worse teams than them in the division from what I saw today

Someone in the press box today counted that the ref stopped the game at least once in EVERY minute in the first half. If you see the name Martin Coy listed to ref your game, don't expect a great spectacle.

Very disheartening from a Rovers perspective. Any more games like that and our chances of a play-off spot fade rapidly. Team selection and lack of a plan B, frequent criticisms of Brabin were equally valid today.

Daggers were well-organised, took their chances well and looked better than Lincoln in the two games we played against them.

Top win for us. Thoroughly deserved and should have been more. Went down to ten men with 20 minutes left when the referee decided to enforce National League instructions and ref us out. Eastleigh only threatened from corners which they seemed to have about 57 of in the last ten minutes. Somehow we managed to hold on despite it looking like Eastleigh had scored/blatant handball on the line.

Eastleigh were terrible. Caused us no problems from open play - Poke didn't have a notable save to make. Loads of dead wood that Allen needs to clear out.

Good set of results down the bottom too.

Cracking result for us in a 6 pointer against Maidstone. Evo stik players look very comfortable and Maidstone's stand looks great in our ground. Stones shouldn't be going down with support like they have, but they offered very little today.
Been gone for a few weeks, did anyone notice?

Good to see Rooney score another penalty. I can't remember him missing one yet this season. He's rubbish at them apparently.

Yet another correct Sparrow prediction. How many is that now GuiseleySteve?
Too many to mention, you are clearly far too good AND clever for this forum.

Seriously, excellent win for you today whilst we took the week off to gel our new signings. Only Woking and Torquay bothered to take advantage.

Don't underestimate York's point at our place, since we have the best home record in the division now I think (considering Tranmere and Barrow both lost at home today)

No we've already taken our four points off them for this season and improved our goal difference by +5.
His red card has to weaken them to some extent

Thing was it was clear that was how he was going to ref it early but you kept on with the sort of physical stuff he was giving. When you did play football you looked more than handy so I reckon you contributed to your own downfall.
Battling through that might have the opposite effect to the Lincoln defeat. Ellis looked solid and made good decisions. And Manne at the death!
Still only half way home but the miles are flying by.
