Should be a proper match with a proper atmosphere.

Not happy that i’m missing this! One of my favourite football away days is Lincoln.

Patagonia sure better be good.

Two excellent young managers up against each other , two clubs on the up in recent times and a big crowd. Nice.

Big game for both clubs this season, but a lot more emphasis on the home team with defeat earlier in the season at Meadow Lane and the current point totals

Think we may lose this one, just a gut feeling. I am hearing Lincoln could be missing a few players a guess from the sending off and injuries?

If it’s key players then we may have a chance but I think we will be set up not to lose rather than to win this time.

Hopefully we'll get at least 2 in before Saturday. We played Bostwick at CB last night and by all accounts was solid, but we need him back in CM unless the Freck deal comes off in time.

Obviously no Raggett or Dickie for us now, so we have one CB. No Anderson due to suspension and he'll be a huge miss on the right hand side, but Rowe will make his league debut. Vickers missed last night through injury, Eardley and Long both appear to be over their niggles, although one had to play last night anyway because both of them being injured left us with one full back!

As it's turned out, we could've done with this game a week or two later really.

Should be a good atmosphere, this one. Been sold out for a while.

Looking forward to this, if we perform as we did at Luton a few weeks ago we should be fine - as then, I'd take a point now. Hoping Shola will be fit, especially as Lincoln have a new CB pairing, and that Grant or Yates don't vanish to L1 before then.

Brisley v Rhead should be a decent battle.

Having players on loan from a team who change their manager and then recall their loanees is always a worry, happened to us before and worse if they're your star players.
DC said on the radio last night after the game that we had had a very positive day with transfers yesterday so it sound likes a new player or two could be in the squad for the weekend.

I’m chilled about Grant and Yates to be honest, can’t see how recalling them really benefits anyone unless they’re going to go into Forest’s team.

Would be delighted with a point really, be nice if notts could get someone in before the weekend, but they’ve done extremely well with this squad so far.

With Lincoln missing a couple of key players there is a chance of getting something but I think largely depends on whether Ameobi is fit or not, as he gives notts someone to aim for in attack, and can make the difference from set pieces, which in games like this is vital.

Probably not a game for the neutral, but if notts get something and maintain the gap on the ever increasing chasing pack then that would be lovely.

Losing Raggett is a definite loss but the other two loanees are not and by all accounts Bostwick was superb last night at CB.

Guesses between McGuigan and Ched Evans although I don’t think either are the best positional replacement.
I’m waiting to change my prediction from Loss to Win depending on what happens in the next 36 hours.

Don’t know if our new signing new signing will be any good. I just hope that Grant is still at the club and will play. I think we can get a result without Yates. Without Yates and Grant would be a big hole to fill in our midfield.

I’m looking forward to the game. It should be a cracker with a good atmosphere in front of a sell out crowd. Both teams have undergone huge transformations under talented managers. Two very similar styles, with both missing key players.

Would love a Notts win, but see this as a draw. Neither team will want to lose. Can imagine it will be cagey

With Frecklington returning there's a feel good factor to the Imps that we can't match.
Under normal circumstances signing Liverpool U23 captain would be seen as a bit of a coup but Yates is a cult hero and Grant must surely be distracted with the speculation over him. Really hoping we sign a striker tomorrow to give us a lift.
Still, I'll be there and it we do get a win , that puts us ten clear of a major rival.

Someone has burnt down Nottingham station, which isn’t entirely ideal the day before this if we’re being honest.

Bit of a pisser that, supposed to be getting the train straight after work to Lincoln, followed by a night on the razzle at superbull. Getting the train from Newark Northgate now.

Going to be carnage tomorrow, guess there may be replacement rail services but who knows.

On to the game, good news is a new centre mid signed today as well as Ameobi supposedly being back, and Grant is still here at the moment. Potentially a striker by the end of the day, which would be a bonus.

Btp confirmed that no trains will be running out of Nottingham. An extra coach has been laid on by one of the supporters club but obviously not enough for demand at such short notice. Could effect the following despite us selling out over a week ago.
