Looking forward to tomorrow. We're one of the form teams in the league Eastleigh are horribly out of form. Hoping they don't have the new-manager effect.
I don't know what our record against Eastleigh is, but I swear we NEVER beat them?

Current Eastleigh appears to be unlike any previous Eastleigh; you should win comfortably considering your form.

Imagine if a couple of the 34/35 point sides win tomorrow and Eastleigh lose though, they could be entering squeaky bum time very soon!

They definitely don't have the new manager effect :pmsl:

I think it's going to take a while to shake off the lingering Allengitis. Would love them to get dragged down into the relegation fight!

Still 39 points for us to play for after tomorrow, long way to go. It'd take a hefty collapse for any of the top 4 to miss the 82 points or so that would get playoffs though.

That said I expect us to carry on where we left off on Saturday. We'll hit the game at pace as FGR lost their heads when we did that last season and were very lucky to only have 1 man sent off.

Cook & Stockton both scored 6 in the last 4 games each. Norwood due his customary goal against FGR so there's plenty of choice upfront for us.

Would it though? If we win tomorrow and FGR lose then we're only a point behind them. I can really feel the pressure from Barrow and Aldershot beneath us and I'm sure Forest Green would be worrying somewhat if they were only a point above us

There are "no doubts" that our game will be on tomorrow, apparently.

Miller is going to PULVERISE our defence.

I just hope Matt Rhead and Jon Parkin don't go in for a tackle together or else this might be the result:

Play Offs are not confirmed for either us, Tranmere or Forest Green yet. It would take a loss of form but it only takes 2 of the chasing pack to put a run together and they could pull one of us back into trouble. We have a hard March coming up. If we get through that relatively unscathed, we'll be alright I think.

Yep, since we've already blown a nine point lead at the top can hardly say four or six points above the chasers makes us secure. That said I think we're getting into our groove again and Bugiel has certainly helped the feel good factor.

Torquay forum seems to want their manager out if they lose to us tonight.

Pitch inspection at Prenton Park for 12 noon. As of right now, we should be OK but by all accounts it lashed down during the night and is forecast to do the same later. I personally think we'll be fine but if there's enough doubt to call an inspection, there's always the chance it's off.

As early a decision as possible please.

How well does your pitch usually hold up? if it passes at midday and then lashes it down later this afternoon will it cope?

Will be interesting to see how York approach tonight. Draws aren't much good to them anymore, I'd be surprised if they just sat back, which would suit us perfectly.

We don't normally get many called off, no different to most I'd imagine. If anything, it's better than it has been in the past but it's still mud and grass - any pitch that gets saturated is saturated, especially at this level.

I hope it holds up but would much rather it wasn't risked and we end up with a Notts County-esque swimming pool that ruined the pitch for 6 months+.

Fair enough. Don't really mind either way, we could probably do without this game right now as we're still rebuilding form and confidence.

Just don't wanna be half way there and it gets called off.

The fact we could potentially be playing 6 games in the last two weeks of March having only played 4 games in the entire of January shows how pathetic the scheduling is at this level.

That's an entirely fair and reasonable request. Apparently we're still waiting for the ref to arrive, so unfortunately no idea when a decision will be made. It would be a shame if it's off as I was really looking forward to a good match for a change.

It's off. Gutted, but the pictures on our site show massive pools of standing water with more rain forecast. It's a non-decision, it can't be played. Oh well, there goes Lincoln's game in hand then.

3 away games in a row for us now (Chester, Barrow and FA Trophy) to sort the pitch for the next home match. At least you haven't travelled.

Yep, good it was early postponement at least. We'd actually managed to fill the coach too.

Can't see past wins for Lincoln and Dagenham tonight, so both can pull out a bit of a gap on us and Tranmere.

Don't Tramere have pitch covers? They solve everything apparently.

Tranmere are the new Braintree. Even our game is ON.
