You’re right, he looked finished with us. He still looks a liability at times from matches I’ve seen since he’s been at Tranmere and he’ll never change that. His ability on the ball is underrated though, I’d definitely have him back and he would fill a key position for us.
Agreed, I’d have him back. Haven’t seen too many Tranmere games, only really the game where Peterborough thumped them and he pressed self-destruct to land one on Maddison.. but who hasn’t thought about doing that.

He’d want a 2 year deal from us though, Harris’ agent always gets him a very good deal. I wouldn’t offer him 2 years though.

I see him staying in League Two based on his good season. Port Vale, Morecambe or someone I’d imagine.

Honestly, if he’s improved like Tranmere fans say and he’s still got his legs, I’d give him 2 years, it’s the only way we’d get him to come back down here. Otherwise like you say, he’ll find a league club easily.

We've signed Callum Burton. What's he like Chesterfield fans?

I like Holroyd. It was right for him to move on, and he was poor last season (although he rarely got a decent run in the side) but the season before he was our best attacking player. A bit lightweight but should be a steady 10-15 goal a season player.

I think he will partner Marcus Carver, Carver will do the donkey work so hopefully Holroyd will feed off that and get himself a few goals. Pleased with the signing, we need the experience.

He's alright. Got a mistake in him. Got sent off for lashing out at an Ebbsfleet player, so he's got that streak in there too. Probably a player given the #1 shirt for a time and gets more experience which is vital for keepers, especially down here I feel.

Steady keeper at this level, should do okay in the division above.

Decent shot stopper, but communication skills and organising his defence is massively lacking. Also tends to be glued to his line as many keepers are at this level, doesn’t come for anything.

You think he’s been signed as your number 1 or backup?

That's a top signing for Hartlepool, one of our best players last year. Surprised we sold him. Five figure fee so I heard.

Loves a tackle does Gus but can also pick out a pass as well

We've signed Mark Waddington from Stoke. Anyone seen him play? He's a midfielder, and has only really had game time at Falkirk.

Harris learned a few new tricks from David Perkins in terms of curbing the wild challenges and playing a more controlled game. Having looked out off his depth in L2 at first, he did an excellent job in a defensive midfield role in the second half of the season after McCullough got injured. Think he was initially offered a deal by Rovers, but didn’t take it and I’m sorry to see him go.

He is definitely worth a two year deal for a National League side.

He also only played 22 games last season, odd to describe him as one of their best players.

Something seems off here.
Maybe he was the best player in the 2 games that the average Salford fan actually went to last season.

He’s been signed as back up but our No.1 at the moment has only just had his first season between the sticks so he has a good opportunity to push for the no.1 shirt.

Ironically our first choice has great shot stopping but doesn’t come off his line or communicate that well.

We've got Jazzi Barnum Bobb playing for us on trial. I hope we sign him purely on the strength of his name.
I’ve asked for a barnum bobb quite a few times at the barbers over the years and always tell them to make it jazzi.
