Finally found the bottle to come on after your boys humiliation on and off the pitch Saturday then mate?
The bottle and bank holiday weekend took precedence over an internet forum, soz.

Back on topic, the glee at GSTQ is rather pathetic is it not?
Swansea's charge to the title hasn't started too well.
Because we've lost one game?

Course it did, as if you'd have not been on here giving it the big un had you even scored, let alone won.

You looked shite fwiw, took until Montero came on for you to do anything. You won't be going anywhere with that back line.

And no, that video is absolutely brilliant and has gone viral.

Yes, but we all thought you were going undefeated in the League this season.
To know your not invincible gives us all great hope for our 2 Cup finals against the mighty Swans.

I don't own a smartphone so even if we'd won 75 - 0 that wasn't an option.

What is brilliant about that video apart from making you look like North Koreans adoring their supreme leader?

Are you even religious?

Does singing it make you more English?

Do you know the born into power leech is also queen of Wales?

We were going to but then we sold all our players.

How many have Boro sold for Leeds? Doesn't look like either us (Leeds) or them will sell out. Only £39 tickets left so that's understandable. Shame though when it's a big game and a derby of sorts

Our resident pit miners don't take much of a liking to our Queen?

Shocked...

Not so shocked about this though.

Felt quite proud of myself against Stoke. Some kids at HT were doing a lap of honour with a big American flag. I started an “Engurland” chant when they got to our end. Proper brexit patriot me!

Sold 2k out of 3k allocation at Everton tonight, wank.

Considering only 7,500ish are turning up for home games, (taking out visiting numbers) it's not bad numbers really. Everton are a big club but they're no Man Utd or Liverpool.

I remember Rotherham bringing around 2500 to our place, for a league cup game a few seasons back. I thought it was a very good following.

Boro have had their allocation on general sale since 10th Aug. 2,500 for a key game 60 mile down road should be do-able even with Sky and £39 tickets for the over 22's and under 60's.

A key game, were only 5 games in ffs. Can't imagine they'll be far off filling it, villa are probably the only ones who you'd say would definitely fill it in the same circumstances.

Only £20 and £5 concessions for Brentford. Our only Saturday London game with trains running normally so a decent number should come down for it.

Boro down to a handful of tickets and Leeds still have about 450 to sell for a sellout. Poor effort from both if it doesn't sell out.

34-35k in the championship is not to be sniffed at, especially for a live game.

Poor compared with Newcastle for example. Sunderland would've sold 40,000 at home for a game like this I reckon, not to mention the big Prem clubs if they were in this position. And to be fair it would absolutely be a total sell out days ago if it wasn't £39. Yeah there'll be 32,000 Leeds there and 2,500 Boro, which is good for this level, but hardly outstanding

Then again it was only 2 years ago we only got about 25k for a top 6 game Vs Derby in early spring on a Friday, and it wasn't that long ago we could only get 17k, so swings and roundabouts

More a dig about prices than anything, but I forgot how insecure Wednesday fans are :D.

For the record there's no way I'd pay £39 to sit in the ESU for a home game on TV

Newcastle are the exception. They get big crowds whether they are doing well, or poor. Not so sure about Sunderland mind. Take out the obvious two, being United, and Liverpool. I'd love to see what Chelsea, Spurs, and even Arsenal would get spending a few seasons in the championship. Man City would be back down to the 30k+

We took about 4k that night which is why I was expecting something similar at Goodison the other night.

I must be mixing you up with Tranmere. You were in the Doug Ellis stand and the North stand upper then. Tranmere had 2500 at our place.

I went to that Villa cup game a few years ago vs Rotherham, they were definitely in the North upper as you say. Remember the same applied when you played Hereford in the cup the year before.

Same here. Used to do all the midweek games, including the shitty cup games. So what you're saying is, that you were leaning more towards villa, which I can't blame you for, then wolves started doing well, and you fuck off back there? :)

Agree Newcastle are a weird anomaly. Sunderland once got a 38k average at this level though

I don't think it's as simple as the higher up the table you are the more fans you get in through the door. Our average had dropped to 22k in our second season down, but we made the playoff final. The season before we were just shy of 30k despite basically being mid table. Villa's crowds have held up well compared with us when we went down, but weirdly we had more fans than you last year despite being 13th. Man City got more in League One than they got in the Prem a few years earlier

There's an interest in Leeds United that there hasn't been for 15 years and you can see that in the home crowds, and away games are a complete closed-shop. But again, I think it's a shame that tonight's crowd won't be as big as it could have been. 32k Leeds fans and 2.5k Boro fans attending is alright, but given a bigger stadium and cheaper tickets that number could be a lot higher I reckon. The rate of ticket sales at Leeds falls off a cliff once the normal priced tickets have sold (not many even get to GS) and, after Ipswich, Norwich and Cardiff, we are usually one of the least attractive away grounds (in terms of numbers of away fans attracted)

Anyway 3-2 to Leeds tonight!

Also, is there anywhere where people keep track of away followings in the Prem?

Nah, my manager back then was a Villa fan so I would go with him whenever we were playing in the arse end of nowhere. Was a good laugh actually, used to always drink in Aston Hotel. I used to watch a few of your games in those two seasons, think that's why I liked Andi Weimann so much

Rotherham a 2,600 sell out on 15 Sept. Not surprising really.

Looks like around 1,750 sold for Hull tomorrow. Not bad considering we were there Tuesday, there's no concessions whatsoever, and trains are a mess. Replacement buses to Chesterfield then Northern on strike so only one train an hour from Sheffield to Hull, and one back afterwards at 6.30. Pay on the day might add a few.
