York fans were livid with the penalty we were given against them the other night, blaming the ref for a shocking decision etc. The video of the incident shows it to be a pretty obvious penalty. Don't take their behaviour the wrong way, they're just a desperate fan base who are struggling to accept their current predicament.

I'm used to the poor result against Sutton excuses game. It's kind of funny, sweet and endearing

Dropped into the relegation zone again and looks like we'll be staying there this time. Scoreline suggests it was close but once we went behind we never really looked like getting another.

There's a lot wrong with our football club at the moment. Depressing.

We were poor again weren't we. Scored from a corner against the run of play and didn't create another chance.

The Braintree loss on Tuesday made even worse seeing as they lost at home to Solihull today.

Only 600 Gateshead fans there today. How come they fail to engage with the people of Gateshead so spectacularly? It's a big place. Very poor.

As for the result. Very happy with the point after being 2 nil down. Onwards and upwards.

Obviously never been to the international stadium then!
More atmosphere on the moon, if it wasn't for the Schooner down the road it would be off most people's agendas!!!

I actually thought we started the brighter and on the balance of play deserved to go in front. Boreham Wood then raised their game and we were second best. Fortunate to be ahead at half-time - so it proved soon after.

Desperately need to sort the defence out. A back four of Caprice, Yakubu, Saah, Jefford seems solid enough. The problem is that three of those four are injured and one of them barely lasts two games without picking up another injury.

Re

ref a total disgrace it was York 2-2 ref
Been a long time since I've seen such a useless and incompetent official ever.
You didn't go to York v Tranmere then? Or turning a blind eye to inept refereeing virtually all in your favour.

North Ferriby`s run of 7 games without a goal was just one short of the record held of 8 held by Barnet from back in 1980.

I thought we were very good today, without playing great football. We dominated Eastleigh for 90mins, and our keeper had nothing to do at all.
Watching in the ground, it looked like our goal should have stood in the first half.
People elsewhere suggesting our lad went down easily for the pen/red card, but he was about to shoot and was tripped. Couldn't be anything other than a penalty.

Eastleigh were average - their best player was Cresswell until he got sent off. Nice to see us finish the job and put it out of sight. Encouraging for us is that we've got a lot of good players who can't get into our XI.

At home we're not likely to lose, and away we've toughened up. I think all our fans will be gutted to not make play-offs as there aren't many better teams so far this season.

As a neutral whilst thoroughly deserving to win at the end, it had all the markings of a 0-0 before the penalty

Yesterday was one of the worst games I have ever watched. Both teams couldn't string passes together and the game was constantly being stopped for fouls. Not that I'm bothered, another victory against one of our relegation rivals thanks to a penalty from Harry White :2thumb:. Braintree are doomed if they play like that every week.

Should have won that, but Daggers decent side so no disaster. Shocking ref and lino though, can see why Coops was fuming and for the ref to then tell a steward to let Coops know he'd been sent off and had to stay out of sight of the pitch was pathetic. At least be brave enough to do it yourself ffs

Very enjoyable day out yesterday topped off by a Dover fan giving 4 of us a lift back to the railway station after the game, fantastic gesture after watching your team get beat 4-1 at home.
Dover were well worth their 1-0 advantage up to the half hour mark, Tranmere couldn't string 2 passes together. Then it all changed. Best performance under Melon yet.

There's one less target to direct anger at now Mills is in charge, although that will come. So the officials are more likely to get it from York fans at the moment.

Genuine wrong decisions even themselves out over the course of the 46 game season anyway. Moaning about refereeing not going your way is only valid for cup competitions.

No one chucked a bottle at your keeper it was his own bottle your defender chucked it after a drink in the middle of the goal to waste more time. If your so good as many of you fans claim why the time wasting?

I didn't see any time wasting I thought we had some of our best chances after we scored the first we certainly weren't sitting back.

If you've got a nice ham, particularly a continental one, then the way to eat it is just with bread. You don't want the flavour contaminated by any other ingredients. Not even butter.

Forest Green fans have been on the falafel so long that they've forgotten how to consume quality meat products.

I'm no veggie pal, and I don't actually know any other supporters who are either (there are some obviously). Just cos our club doesn't sell meat on matchdays, it doesn't mean we've all gone vegan.

I eat a raw steak before pumping some iron and CHARGING up the hill to the ground every week.

One thing that was confirmed yesterday, is that the best midfielder in this league is NOT Luke Guttridge.

Drissa Traore is in a DIFFERENT LEAGUE.
