As expected a narrow 1-0 loss away at Aldershot. Certainly not helped by Lawler going off after a second yellow card. 1st one seemed rather soft. It seemed an even game up to that point, both teams chasing the three points and chances created at both ends.
Still confident we'll climb out of this.

Makes the journey worthwhile :) Superb from us second half, Dover having shaded the first, on another day it'd have been a few more.

Dean Keates' revolution slowly continues, recovered from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Gateshead. Another good result.

I thought we were very good today, without playing great football. We dominated Eastleigh for 90mins, and our keeper had nothing to do at all.
Watching in the ground, it looked like our goal should have stood in the first half.
People elsewhere suggesting our lad went down easily for the pen/red card, but he was about to shoot and was tripped. Couldn't be anything other than a penalty.

Eastleigh were average - their best player was Cresswell until he got sent off. Nice to see us finish the job and put it out of sight. Encouraging for us is that we've got a lot of good players who can't get into our XI.

At home we're not likely to lose, and away we've toughened up. I think all our fans will be gutted to not make play-offs as there aren't many better teams so far this season.

Decent game two good saves first half by Justham and we missed two decent chances too.

Sub early second half did us no favours and they scored. They had another chances but the time wasting was embarrassing and they were rightly punished, fabulous header really top class centre forward play.

A tough month with lots of injuries but we have been brilliant.

Disappointing result, we did fairly well today to be honest and the scoreline is absolutely no reflection of the game. Lincoln certainly edged it but added two goals on the break when we were chasing.

Ah well.

Dover 1 tranmere 4 what a strange league this is!!

Mellon p4 w4 f11 a1.... Take that brabin

Ahem, aren't you forgetting a certain cup game?
Good form though, and think overall our sides are very similar. I'd take Harrison over Cook though - best striker we've had in years.

Maidstone looked pretty nervy until Jack Paxman came on, but Macclesfield had very little going for them except that weird looking bald fella who missed the penalty. Our full backs look very decent and Loza looks a cut above, hopefully this can be a springboard.
Was very disappointed by the Macc away support both in numbers and noise - can't have been more than 20 of them and didn't hear a sound.

Only 600 Gateshead fans there today. How come they fail to engage with the people of Gateshead so spectacularly? It's a big place. Very poor.

As for the result. Very happy with the point after being 2 nil down. Onwards and upwards.

Wasn't there but by the sounds of it we let one get away from us there. Can't afford to miss chances to the extent that we did today. Also frustrating to see us play the second half with no goal scorer after Holroyd went off. Every game in the last few weeks we have had spells where we have played well but longer spells where we can't string a pass together. It's a long time since we last won a game, we can't afford to have streaks like this every season.

OMG! For thirty minutes, without really creating good chances we were all over Tranmere, but the second the equaliser came they started to dominate, certainly for the balance of the first half, and frankly all of the second, when, and not for the first time, as a team we totally collapsed again, and most certainly our defence collapsed.
Lafayette who to be fair, did more than okay when the ball found it's way to his feet, was as even Le Whites feared, owned completely by Mcnulty every time the ball went in the air which was most of the time when we got it, and yet despite that, which was clear to everyone, even in the second half we changed nothing!
CK still had everyone lumping the ball down the throats of Tranmeres defence. Miller and Modeste were too far away from Lafayette, we rarely had anyone pushing forward behind them as they were all just sitting back seemingly just waiting for the next attack and the way Tranmere were by then holding up possession allowed them to move our back four and with it the unique man marking system our boss insists on playing, all over the place and in fairness it could have been a lot worse.
Ultimately we got what we deserved from the game. Sweet bugger all, and if our gaffer comes out with his customary rhetoric every time we get tanked, like "days like this happen" "little we can do about it " " I don't go overboard when we win well and don't get too down when we lose, and or "we just move on"....I will scream!
Congratulations to Tranmere, you gave us a footballing lesson today, both in movement when coming forward and defensively when we did actually get the ball down and play, but the question many around me were asking is where the hell does today leave us?
Taking all emotion and disappointment out of it, I have to say it's a real head scratcher.
We simply can not expect to get into the play offs losing the amount of games we are (I think that's our seventh already) and worse conceding the amount of goals we are. We have already let in over thirty, and worse we simply don't seem to ever learn from any of these bloody defeats.
For the supporters it's annoying and disappointing on many fronts, as surely any challenge for the play offfs will disappear with a few more days like this, and with no chance of relegation Miller will certainly move come January, in fact watching the game today it makes you wonder how we score any goals doesn't it. Hopefully there will be no repeat Saturday and we can have a really decent cup run....and I will accept that happily, as the play offs, while possible, do not really seem realistic

If the first one was for the foul it was a poor decision, however I have a feeling it may have been for dissent as the ref blew his whistle about 10 seconds after giving the free kick and then booked him.

As for us we weren't at our best today and were lucky not to concede in injury time - think it was Rankine who missed an absolute sitter from 6 yards. Still, can't complain with 7 wins and 7 clean sheets in 9 home games!

Just got FGR and Lincoln away next... ouch!

Ten man Sutton equalise against York...
ref a total disgrace it was York 2-2 ref
Been a long time since I've seen such a useless and incompetent official ever.
All game got things wrong, failed to get to grips with strong play by Sutton.
Gave Sutton 2 pens and even Sutton manager has said neither was and missed a totally stone walled pen for us.
Least stayed till end and Mills has turned the ship

I'd be surprised if it was dissent from Jake, he's such a quiet, shy lad.
You've now seen why Rankine has been warming the bench in most games and we brought in Cassidy and Hylton! Shame the latter picked up an injury as he has created well for us. Cassidy hit the post and fired wide I believe and Olli Johnson had a good chance at the end but also shot wide. Nicky Clee has had a few good games recently too, how was he today?

A big win for us today.
Behind twice then totally dominant after the break. Sounds like Rhead was unplayable today as he played a part in all 5 goals for us.
A very decent turnout of Imps too

Well if I lived in Gateshead I doubt I would want to go at Watch football at soulless stadium.

Spoke to their coaches and a couple of their players afterwards, the first yellow was apparently for dissent. Harsh considering it wasn't even a foul IMHO. The second however, could I thought have been a straight red. It looked from where I was two footed and over the ball. It was Olli Johnson who missed the sitter.

Cassidy missed two good chances, one airshot in the first half when one on one with the keeper and when he hit the post when it was easier to score. Guiseley looked far more dangerous when Ranks was on, mainly because they were a goal down and actually had to try to score rather than park the bus. Ranks for me looked far better than the two who started, but I'm biased because he is a good mate!

Clee did nothing other than try and boot Alexander at every opportunity, but generally missed as he is now far too slow. He was a very good play once, but not anymore.

That all said, Guiseley look a far more solid team than a few I've seen, and I will be highly surprised if they are in the bottom four come next Spring.

Dropped into the relegation zone again and looks like we'll be staying there this time. Scoreline suggests it was close but once we went behind we never really looked like getting another.

There's a lot wrong with our football club at the moment. Depressing.

I was at game and didn't see or hear about any trouble.
Dagenham supporters are segregated in North Stand, well away from lobbing distance of any missile thrown by anybody from FGR.
I suspect this incident is confined to the D & G fans.
From the photo it looks like a fan at back of North Stand threw a coin and hit a fellow supporter at front.
Anyway I hope the guy reports incident to the authorities/police. CCTV will identify who threw coin.

Pretty sure they were parodying the West Ham incident.

York fans were livid with the penalty we were given against them the other night, blaming the ref for a shocking decision etc. The video of the incident shows it to be a pretty obvious penalty. Don't take their behaviour the wrong way, they're just a desperate fan base who are struggling to accept their current predicament.
