Someone is going to have to explain to me what a BELT is.
Bigger Ex League Teams or something.

Basically an acronym derived by the tin-potters, in an effort to upset the proper football clubs of the division.

I prefer the CLIT acronym myself, Cocky Little Insignificant Teams.

Saying that, I'll be adding you to my accumulator for sure. It's a CERTAIN away win this time, anything else would be an embarrassment.

You can't lose really, if you get beat it's as expected whereas anything else is a massive bonus. That's the only thing in your favour, it's a bit of a free hit.

tbh I just use BELTs for all ex-league clubs because you're all bigger than us and for at least a couple of years will remain that way

FGR are evens tomorrow at Wrexham.

We were better than evens at York midweek!

I dunno, I don't think our lot are THAT bad with the "we used to be in the Football League y'know" stuff. Many people "forgot" we even existed when the old ground was sold off.

As for Lincoln, well, they score a lot and since we can't defend for our lives, they'll probably put a few up. We'll have to rely on upping our game like we only seem to do against the bigger sides

It looks as though , for us, we could be playing you at just the right time, as your recent form, tho am not sure exactly who you have played has not been good at all has it, so with that in mind, I can't see us losing, but to me the chances of winning will depend on whether our boss gives Miller another detention, we will see.
Last year, in what was a re-arranged mid week game I think it was, where we still took 70 odd supporters was quite one sided, and you really should have won, but didn't. You also played really decent football, and though I know your supporters moan about Modeste but equally I remember your CF falling over everytime a Dover came near him. Hopefully we can improve on that, and we will need to..

The other fixtures all look like going the way of those in the top five, except and what a hard ga,me to call, Dagenham and Barrow, who since we beat them have been unbeatable. Some really important games affecting the relegation zone, whicb like the above game are all pretty hard tom call.

I cant remember from last year but does the club house, bar (and a nice bar it is to)| have Sky?
Mcilroy suite open at 12. I think you have to buy a match ticket before you can get in and the Burnley v City game is on TV

Maidstone should be a bit encouraged that we're not doing clean sheets at the minute (not had one for a month, conceding 8 in 4) but we've scored 15 in 4). Goals are coming from everyone at the minute.

Raggett back for us and I imagine Whitehouse will continue in midfield. Anderson missed midweek but I can't see a dead leg keeping him out again.

Farman

Wood
Wwaterfall
Raggett
Habergham

Anderson
Woodyard
Whitehouse
Arnold

Rhead
Robinson

Subs - Howe, Muldoon, Power, Hawkridge, Marriott

Not a shabby starting XI, that!

Thought Waterfall was suspended after he got booked in midweek? I expect it'll be Howe and Raggett at the back.

As you were then. Hope he doesn't pick another up before the Oldham FA Cup game.

I'm sad to say that Eastleigh can help themselves tomorrow as our walking wounded 12 man + youngsters squad is looking a bit forlorn lately. We were only saved from a home tanking by lowly Southport due to a 9/10 performance from rookie keeper Lynch. Glad I'm not going.

Gateshead at home. Doesn't get much more boring than that. And they haven't lost since September. Great.

Soccerbase has him on 2 bookings(the last two games). Was he booked in the Guiseley games or have soccerbase missed some? Looking forward to seeing Whitehouse get a full 90 minutes looked in his sub appearances so far, didn't go to York.
Still we are not fully there yet, need to tighten up the back a bit and we do waste a few chances at goal(mainly Robinson mind!)
Will we finally break 4000 for a Saturday game tomorrow? Fingers crossed!

We should bring 150-200 if that helps.

Today will be the first time I have seen us play on an artificial/4G pitch. Unfortunately we are playing the team that seem to make good use of it. Really could do with a win but with Sutton's home form i'd take a point.

Think we'll have about 300-350 there, had we won our last 2 home games it probably would have been 500+

I would be stunned if there were less than 500 Aldershot fans there today.

Apart from the day Aldershot won the Isthmian League at GGL in 2003, you've never taken 500 for a league game. But the more the merrier

Could it be time to publish another 'proper club' list, to once again remind everyone of where they stand in the Natural Order?

Under the original rules proper status is lost after 5 years in non-league, which leaves Wrexham and Lincoln screwed, or a 2nd relegation to non-league which screws York. Proper status can only be gained after 25 years consecutively in the FL aka the great 92.

So according to the rules the only 'proper' club at this level are Tranmere. The rest of us are tinpot clubs, NLLers (Non-League Lifers), lucky to be on the same pitch as such luminaries.

Sutton United, tinpot and sort of proud of it

I'm not sure there has been a Saturday 3pm kick off between the two side has there? The only Saturday game I can remember was the '87 cup game we don't speak of, and there was more than 500 there.
I do remember a Bank holiday game where there must have been way more than 500 but maybe I am think of the promotion game.
That said, I also don't think there has been a game between the two in this high a league.
Either way, let me replace the word stunned with disappointed...a club getting 1700-1800 home fans should be able to take 500 to an away game 30 miles up the road with easy train access.

Very misty up here today, i live 2 miles from pp and visibility is about 80-100 metres, i am right by the river though so it may be clearer inland a bit

That doesn't sound too promising. I was a bit worried on Tuesday evening when the mist started to come in towards the end of our game, sometimes visibility is poor that high up, it all looked like ending up a bit hound of the Baskervilles!

I think Torquay may have a claim under that definition. They've had a couple of spells in non league but I don't think they've been down for 5 consecutive years yet.

On 3 apparently.

Cut off point for 5 bookings must be soon? Wood is on 4, and given that we have no cover in either full back position...
