So. Why do you support your club? Long term genetic roots - I.E. Your Father, Grand father did? Your local team?
I know someone who is from Liverpool but changed allegience to Blackburn Rovers when they won the title. Can't go back to supporting Liverpool, won't support Rovers because of where they are.
I know a Burnley fan who did likewise. Now it's a bit awkward for them as they daren't show their face near Turf Moor.
Are you a staunch fan, who no matter what; stands by his/her side?! Football is global these days. So maybe you picked a team who are successful or fancy an underdog.
My neighbour is from Birkenhead, claims to follow Tranmere Rovers but seems to only get giddy about Liverpool.
I'm curious what made you pick your team. Or did the team pick you?
Not a judegmental post but it seems there are a fair few people who switch sides as easily as bank accounts.
Would you follow your team if they suddenly went on a disasterous run and ended up dropping down the divisions?
