What looked like a four horse race for 21st has been blown wide open. Hull and Reading in deep poo.. Even Wednesday will be looking over their shoulders. I'd like to see Reading down. :D

Well and truly in trouble now. After last nights crap performance its time for Stam to go. Until last night i thought we should stick with him.

If we fail to go up,then I hope the blues stay up. That means we would have derbies against blues and the baggies next season. Blues away has turned into a shit away day, but it's always nice to see VP full when they visit us. Our rivalry with Albion has intensified over the last few years.

From out of the relegation zone to bottom in the space of a few days. Can someone tell the teams around us to stop winning.

Ron Gourlay, our CEO, has come out with some rather strange comments.... apparently we're in a season of transition. How exactly is finishing one kick away from the Premier League, forking out a shed load of money in the summer and being four points off the relegation zone anything but a complete failure thus far?

Attendances are at their lowest in years, the football is tedious and boring, and Stam is a stubborn twat who won't change his ways and aims digs at the fans who dare question his authority.

I didn't expect us to reach the same heights as last season, but christ, at least play with some urgency and passion.

Sunderland are terrible, as if Coleman doesn't use McGeady.

Nigel Adkins has somehow turned hull from being the highest scorers in the league to being unable to score, 7 out of 9 failing to score, he really is something else , utter utter useless twat.

Can't stand his "lets be positive in every situation" persona. He could lose 20 games in a row and still go into a press conference after the game and say "we played well and did everything but score, we go again next week" crap. It's insulting to the fans if anything. It's no wonder players don't want to play for him, I wouldn't if I was one of them.

Worst manager we've ever had , wilder took us up on 100 points with the majority of the same players in the squad.

I hated him at Reading - came across as a maths teacher and spouted crap when the team were leaking soft goals left, right and centre.

He was always rattled that McDermott pipped him to the title whilst he was at Southampton. His arrogance that Southampton deserved to win the title reflected his empty trophy cabinet.

We can't score for toffee. We've got Birmingham (a), Burton (h) and Hull (a) in Feb. If we don't beat at least 2 of them I'd say we're down, as we just cannot hack it against sides higher up the table.

Funny you say that as you're brilliant whenever we play you.

We've played twice this season and gained 1 point. We were unlucky not to draw in the game at Molineux but ifs and buts don't mean anything to the league table. Our wins have come vs Sunderland, Burton and Birmingham (all bottom 3), Millwall (15th) and Forest (14th). Basically if we don't beat the teams around us we're screwed as we ain't beating anyone from 12th up.

I was initially impressed with Adkins because he speaks so well during his interview and it’s refreshing that he’s so upbeat focussing on positives. However after losing he’d ignore negatives and again focus on positives. Gradually this style of post match interview really wound up our fans. Eventually we came to the conclusion that he was deluded and we couldn’t take him seriously anymore.

That’s one of the reasons we like Wilder so much. He speaks a bit like a fan instead of speaking like a school teacher. If we are poor he’ll say it.

Fuck it I'm ready to accept that we are going down. Watching us is akin to self harming lately.

The only positive is we have a squad that should challenge for an immediate return.

I agree with Craig. They're trying, they really are, we were well on top vs Fulham before the brainless red card. But they just aren't good enough in front of either goal. 1 win in 15 and a goal every other game is well and truly relegation form.

Out of the bottom three for the first time in a while, continuing to play some good football and tonight finally got some rewards, albeit against a defence that looked bereft of any confidence.

Lost 1 in 8 now apparently, nice to have some forward momentum going into a run of tough games.

Still time for anyone from us down to get properly dragged back into it, but I reckon the bottom three will stay as it is.

They were terrible, even the normally annoying little scrote Cattermole had no bite, the two lads up front spent most of the evening gesticulating at each other and following each of our goals they just turned round and trudged back to the middle, no arguments, no inquest, just seemed as though they felt it was inevitable.

I thought their subs laughing and joking with our fans, waving to them etc was a bit in poor taste considering their team was getting bummed 3-0 at the time.

I like Sunderland, have some good mates who we always meet etc but in a situation like the one we find ourselves in, it’s nice to know there is at least one team who look considerably shitter than us.

I don't think Coleman's helping himself, McManaman and McGeady are both sat around doing nowt and if he got both of them playing I'd say only Wolves would have a better pair of wingers.

Callum McManaman is possibly the most overrated footballer I've ever seen. Also bar a decent spell at Preston McGeady hasn't done much of note for many years.

McManaman's got all the ability in the world as has McGeady as he shown last season where he was the second best winger in the division in my opinion, but they both need a manager that's going to get it out of them. I thought Coleman would do.

McGeady changed the game when he came on, made a huge difference to Sunderland in an attacking sense, baffling why he hadn’t been starting/bought on for more than the last 20.

That basically sums up the past 5 years, the amount of times we've just capitulated as soon as anything negative happens is unreal. It's endemic of the club and the rot set into the fanbase a little while ago.

McManaman is an annoying one - I've taken to just watching him when he's on the pitch and all he does is wander around when not on the ball and when the ball does fall to him he loses it 4 seconds later. McGeady was only here because of Grayson, now Grayson is gone he's apparently looking for the exit. I don't think it would be such a loss if we do lose McGeady either, even as wingers go he's sometimes infuriating to watch. Added to the fact Coleman doesn't much care for wingers in the system he is playing they'll probably be a regular fixture on the bench for the rest of the season.

McGeady is fucking brilliant.

I'd love him back here.
