Finished 11.22.63. Very good it was, a bit sad though . Sarah Gadon is pretty and James Franco didn't annoy me and he usually does.

what did you think of it Bish? I am watching it currently on FOX think it's about 4 episodes in. I am massive fan of Stephen King and 11/22/63 is one of his best books and one of the best books I've read of any author. What I like about this series is that it is completely different to the book, so utterly different I have no idea how this will end compared to the book, although I'm thinking the very very end will be pretty much chapter and verse to the book.

I really enjoyed it tbh. Without giving too much away it does stay very true to the book but makes a few, but not plot-changing, alterations (I liked the ending in the show better than the ending in the book). It was definitely a good decision to pack it all in to 8 episodes too, the pacing is excellent in my opinion.

Started watching Prison Break, I've not seen seasons 3 & 4 but seeing as it's coming back thought I'd finally get round to it

It was fucking wank, same with the Rangers movie they did later on. Up until Breaking Bad, Babylon 5 was my favourite series of all time I absolutely loved it.

I had all the movies on VHS and yeah they were iffy, though In The Beginning was pretty good explaining Delenn's story and Sinclair's future pretty well.

It saddens me when I look back on that now and see those who were in it and have since died, including Michael O'Hare (Sinclair), Richard Biggs (Franklin), Andreas Katsulas (G'Kar - my favourite character of the lot), Jeff Conaway (Zack) and the guy who played Zathras as well.

Anyone been watching Billions? Is it worth getting involved with?

Haha. Can't believe I didn't see this before posting.

It's up there with the best series I've seen. Paul Giamatti is outstandingly excellent.

Haha, nice timing.

Did you watch it online? I may give it an episode tonight, see whether I like it.

Recording it weekly, will get round to it once I finish The Night Manager (if I can be arsed with that), The Hollow Crown and GoT. Does look good though and the two leads are always worth watching.

I'm about to start The Night Manager as soon as this Chinese arrives. That comment is hardly inspiring, Salty. Isn't it very good?

I've seen the first two episodes and they aren't doing it for me. Apparently it does get better though so I'll watch another one and see how it goes.

Recently started watching the Louis Theroux documentaries on Netflix and there has also been a few recent ones on the BBC. What a great insight he gives on the world. The American one's are particularly interesting, just shows the extremes over there.

Similar to the last poster, I have been re-watching Louis Theroux. I love all his programmes to varying degrees.

Have started re-watching Dinnerladies since the death of Victoria Wood, which has its moments, and Pramface on Netflix, which is fairly amusing I think.

I need a good new drama series. Am quite looking forward to Orange is the new Black returning next month.

I just finished watching the fourth series of The Wire.

Unbelievably good, absolutely gutting at times - my favourite so far.

I'm prepared to be disappointed by the final series.

Three minutes in and I'm already disappointed - the version of the opening theme is awful.

Started watching The Office USA over the weekend and it could be the best decision I've ever made. Already over halfway through the 2nd series and I'm loving it - Steve Carell is so perfect for that role.

Watched a brilliant documentary on BBC4 about FDR yesterday evening. Worth catching on iPlayer. I thought it was excellent.

I watched a good doc on BBC the other night about Herbert von Karajan. My father used to love him and his rendition of the famous second movement of Mahler's fifth is my favourite version. Interesting personality and colourful being a member of the Nazi party though he did that apparently not out of love of Hitler or the party, but conductors wouldn't get work unless they were; and it dogged him constantly afterwards. Some good stories about him from former players in his orchestras.

I'm still working my way through the Sopranos. One episode of series 3 left. Still liking it but still not sure it's as good as people say. Saying that, the episode with Paulie and Chris freezing in the forest was excellent. Had me in stitches at times.

Aye that was a good episode. The Soprano's had its moments, but I gave up on it in the end.
