No chance we're scoring twice. Been a great effort since October but league 2 beckons

We’ve absolutely bottled this season. We were in an unbelievable position not that long ago but 2 goals from own woeful mistakes again tonight. Not 100% sure where we go from here. Playoffs looking our best option this season but can’t see us being good enough to get through them the way we have played the last 3/4 weeks.

Half that team not good enough for league 1, Brady got it massively wrong too

This feels like a win now if it finishes 2-2. First hour we were terrible. Last half hour brilliant. We’ve missed so many good chances

I imagine that was something of a mental at Oakwell just now.

Massive win for us that. Up to 14th and seven points clear now. Bit of a messy second half after we should have been a couple up going into half time. Cheltenham created some better opportunities in the second half and got their goal. Nice to see us have the mentality to fight back after that and get the second before we were gifted the third.

It’s the same every season.
Start the season badly ruling us out of contention by December (although we took it a bit far this season)
Finish it strongly getting everyone excited for next season
Repeat

Wow, get the open top bus out!
I'm not as confident as you. I'll be happy to get second or go up in the play-offs. Thanks for the thought thou. Open top bus would be nice.

I still think you are a mug though!!

You're in 2nd though! If you don't make it up this year then does Evatt get the boot? I had you as Champions at the start of the season, but Evatt is a really dislikeable person and so I wouldn't be devastated if he got the chop.

I'd love half our team to be not good enough for league 1. Unfortunately it turns out that all of them aren't. I would have been delighted with Northampton's season in their first season back...don't you usually go straight back down? You've done far better than we did in our first season back.

I'm optimistic but it's hard to see us coming back from that last night.

Technically it is still in our hands as we can still catch Exeter without any help from anyone else, but it's difficult to see where the goals are going to come from.

The tenacious, in your face, bloody your nose mentality seems to have dissipated and we are now just hoofing up to two 5'9 forwards. Lloydy can leap higher than most defenders can jump, but he's not ever going to hold the ball up to bring the midfield into play.

Clarke has to take some of the blame for the last few games as well. He seems to be rotating the midfield and defence for the sake of it and this is just creating confusion. Sercombe has been immense this season, he drops him out of nowhere and now it's taken him 2-3 games to get back up to speed. Kinsella is the best runner in the team, and has been a nightmare in midfield, last night he started him at right wing-back before moving him to left wing-back when Ferry went off injured - an absolute waste of a decent player.

We did well to get the goal back last night, but Charlton were good value for their win in the end. 3-1 was probably a bit harsh, but we couldn't let the night finish without May getting his goal could we.

Surely a Charlton win would be best for Fleetwood?
Your now on a good run and barring some drastic loss of form should be ok. Vale and Cheltenham are almost within touching distance but no team can afford to lose. Shrewsbury are not that far ahead but it all goes out the window if can't get another win, and another and.....It's painful for everyone !

Probably a good result last night for our dwindling chances as keeps Cheltenham close so a win against Shrewsbury and could be above them with a game in hand and right behind Shrews with 2 games in hand.... that would though need us to actually start fighting.
