Once more our intrepid lads venture to the frozen north. This time to do battle with shell suit flogging, pie eating, money bags Wiganers. I expect a much improved performance from us with the ginger Messi getting a start ( make it so DC) and our defence collectively pulling themselves together.
I'd be satisfied with a draw but secretly think we'll win ( possibly 4-1)
UTG :ds::bye::bdick:.... etc

I think Wigan are a much better team that a very poor Rovers team. Easy 3-0 win for the home team on this one.

I was genuinely going to come on here and predict a heavy defeat and atleast one post on here from PishInPratoria. But i was too late. Just going to head to the bookies to lump on now, because i'm either a mastermind or both predictions were painfully bloody obvious to see coming. :2thumb:

Only going one way this one i think. A very comfortable 4-0 win for us with will grigg reigniting his fire grabbing a brace.

The ginger Messi starts! (DC must have been reading). Exciting young full back Bola starts too. Attacking side today, obviously it's death or glory time:cool1:

Happy with that apart from Leadbitter. Seems like we're going to hit them on the counter though, which I like. A lot of pace in the side

It's got to be a fitness issue with Parts. Leadbitter needs to sort his head out today. Hopelessly Ellis can have one of his days today.

Heard it was a shameless dive. You watching Gassy ?
Looked like the right decision to me. FWIW I don't think Sweeney meant to foul him, Sweeney more clambers the back of him trying to get the ball. I thought at the time it was in the box too. A real shame, I thought we were playing well until then, looked like we could get something on the counter. Since then it's been all Wigan and should be 3-0 by now. I've seen those decisions given as yellows before but for me it was a red, nothing nasty in it though.

Wait until you see the "wall" we put up for the freekick - embarrassing

The 2nd was a tad unlucky but dreadful defending by Broadbent

Horrible penalty - shame as we have been on top the last 5 minutes, could have made it interesting. Harrison is back to his usua self, can't pass, can't shoot, can't head. Why D.C took Gaffney off instead I will never know

3--0 was harsh on Rovers to be fair. First half we dominated the play but they worked hard to close us down and we only had a couple of great chances then the red card opened things up.

Thought the lad was unlucky in the respect that I don't think he meant to foul him but when you're chasing someone closely then accidentally clipping someones heel happens. If that hadn't happened Jacobs was clean through with the keeper and surely would have scored, so a red card was the only outcome.

Thought we were unlucky not to go 2-0 in a the break, that triple save/block was outstanding. Second half started the same, total domination and when we scored the second, we then had multiple chances to go 3 up and at times stupidly tried to walk it in. Took Grigg off and the whole team took the foot off the gas and Rovers fair play to them, they had a right good go for 15 minutes and unlucky not to pull one back.

Was lucky Morsy wasn't given a second yellow for blocking their player with his shoulder on the edge of the D. Was a definite yellow but I think the referee was aware that his first yellow for handball wasn't as it was handled by the Rovers play onto Morsys hand.

Thought Bristol Rovers were far better than Portsmouth and will be upper mid table come the end of the season.

After predicting the 'shock' loss at home to bottom of the table Oldham in their relegation 6 pointer... I then get the correct score in the Wigan. I am like the prophet of doom for a very poor Rovers team.
