With goose fat. That's the key.

Or so the wife tells me.
I boil the cut spuds for about 7 minutes, leave out long enough for all the moisture to evaporate, put em in a roasting tray, douse em with olive oil & homemade spunk and then roast away until done.

I think roast spudiscles are just fine with olive oil really - goose fat's a bit UNNECESSARY if you ask me. Also reckon they're better with the SKIN ON #pineappletatotips #controversial

Do people really buy them? They're the easiest thing in the world to knock up (apart from YOUR MUM), surely

And neither that, nor PS+ is worth it. Though if Rocket League comes down in price and I bite, I may get a few months worth :D
PS+ is definitely worth it. Rocket League was a free game on it, so if that's your bag you'd have got that for nowt at one point. A couple of ok games a month isn't mind blowing but for 30 sniffs a year it's not bad, even if only 1 or 2 of the titles gets your attention.

Blitz up some garlic cloves with some quality olive oil. Bit of thyme and rosemary, goose/ duck fat, sea salt ( Maldons) is good and some cracked black pepper. Aber's top tip- cheeky squeeze of lemon juice.
You're welcome.

SSN going on and on and on about Gareth Southgate becoming England manager as if it's a big story. It's not as if he'll be in the job long anyway.

Does Salty mean roast potatoes or rostis which, although being a potato and onion thingy, are completely different.

Anyway, neither go with haggis or a wee dram.

Rostis (I probably spelt it wrong earlier!) with the onion and they were delicious before. I was buying them for years, then I got a couple of bags a few months ago and there was no taste of onions whatsoever and thought it was a bad batch to which I got on the phone to them and got a fiver voucher for my trouble. We bought them again last week and they've changed again to being wee fat things now (too heavy) and are still tasteless. M&S do this too often, bring in something very nice and then change it or discontinue it too quickly!

And btw they went wonderfully with salmon, smoked, filleted or tinned. :D

Nah not having it mate. I would never ring up to complain about a pre made rosti lacking quality. I'd die before doing that.

I'd assumed this was a random comment generated by your atavar until I saw your howl of pain in last night's Shoutbox.

Why aren't you immune?

That'll teach you to take the hair dryer into the shower with you mate.....

It was more that it'll teach me to make sure something (namely a lamp this time) is turned off before attempting repairs.

Even though he had mental health issues which makes his situation worse, the decision not to help him made me feel so angry but what do we expect in Tory Britain?

This country is a fucking disgrace, and getting worse by the day with this bunch of unfeeling Tory cnuts at the helm. It's nothing we didn't already know.

What makes things worse is that, with Corbyn in charge of the main opposition, the Tories have effectively got free reign for a decade. It's like the Tories and the decade after they lost in 97, only worse. The day Corbyn had his leadership confirmed for the second time, you can pretty much guarantee the champaign corks were popping in number ten. I despair with the fucking Labour party at times.

The following program is on channel 5 tonight "Can't pay: Christmas special" nothing quite gets you in the spirit for Christmas than watching poor people get hassled by ballifs.

I'm sure programs like this are state sponsored. And those god-awful benefit ones. It's like "here, these are the people you should be hating on... as we take home out 6 figure salaries, dodge tax and claim our new sofas on expenses". Wankers

Let's not pretend housing availability was any good under Blair or Brown either. The current Labour leadership is the answer and will end up leading parliament after the next election. You were on the wrong side of history with your predictions on brexit & trump whereas I called em both. Trust me Corbyn will win, I have form.
