Just at the cleric beast now, but first time I failed as I was learning how to dodge his attacks. Need more blood vials now though...

Now you can level up, just grind blood echoes to get whatever stat you fancy up, stamina or whatever.
Dunno bout you but first time i fought Cleric Beast i wasn't even close to surviving
Also there's a shortcut to get back to the bridge that bypasss the Werewolves which is worth opening

I know thanks :)

I got him to half health, but by then I only had 3 vials left so I couldn't do too much. I have levelled a few times, soon enough he should be gone.

been playing a bit of hardline at my mate's and have been surprised at how amateurish the writing is for the campaign mode. It's a real chore to play through. Multiplayer doesn't add anything new either from what I've seen.

Surprised? Didn't you play through BF4 with the 'wolf chewing it's leg off' theme? Shit was awkward as fuck.

Probably not all that surprised considering the franchise and the company behind it, but I dunno. The trailers looked OK and I thought the episodic format had potential. Not a big fan of the others but this initially seemed like something of a step away from all that.

Dying light - a couple of mates are doing a full run through.

Pretty fun - very much dead island with a different story.

Ben fighting father gascoigne a few times, I got him down to 1/3 health before getting killed. Going to level up a couple times just so I can properly be ready. Looking forward to finally getting off this part.

Bought the Last of Us to go with my PS3 yesterday so started that. Wow already! On a night shift tonight, so left it at a natural checkpoint so I can just play the hell out of it when I finish tomorrow!

Been watching the Polygon Let's Play of BB and they've just absolutely slaughtered Gascoigne, which I gather is no mean feat going by the comments section.

Gotta say, the videos are making me want a PS4. The original Dark Souls never appealed to me too much, cos I hate the idea of being too scared of dying to actually enjoy a video game, but I like nearly everything I've seen of BB.

I was never interested by Souls, but seeing this game get scores of 9, 9.5 and I some cases 10 and an overall user score of 8.8 on metacritic (Over 2200 reviews) made me look into this.

It really is a good game, but so frustrating too. The amount of times you die learning the game is pretty annoying, but if you have the patience it's worth it.

Just gotta get over the fear of losing any souls/blood echoes you've built up, that was my biggest hindrance in these games

1886: The Order, got to the first three werewolves and couldn't kill them so was getting a bit pissed off and tried Bloodborne instead. Great graphics and general gameplay but I'm struggling to get into it, lack of checkpoints starting to annoy me a bit, kill a couple of dozen monsters and make some progress then get killed and you're back to square one.

It's annoying, I found that. But try to perfect techniques and you should get there, dodging is super important I realised. Also as megaclyde said, get to the first optional boss so you can start levelling and that should make things easier.

I'm in old Yharnam now, the section with the massive turret gun is kinda annoying.

Made me jump out of my seat, just saw masses of bullets going at me. Found a gap at the end of the building so jumped off, bad idea. Didn't see the staircase aside it

BF Hardline was really frustrating last night, might have something to do with not having the best broadband but I was getting the jump on people and they were just mowing me down every time. I'll admit when I'm shit (I'm shit) but you know when you drill someone with upper body shots and they turn and fuck you over with 40% health left something's not right.

Shitty net-code and 32 tick servers would explain it.

MLB 15, it's good. RTTS seems better this year although it could still do with a NBA 2K type story. Diamond Dynasty looks fantastic although the lack of offline stuff for that is disappointing.

The fact you can earn currency across all game modes is cool too. FIFA should do that, i.e earn FUT coins playing Career mode. Oh and they've removed contracts for players which is something else I'd like FIFA to do

Defeated Father Gascoigne. What an absolute joke of a boss. Got hit twice I think. The gun makes the fight laughable.

Funnily enough, loads of people have struggled with the guy. I died a few times to him, but once i knew his moves it wasn't too bad.
