Everything but. He's rapidly losing a fanbase that is starting to come across as very impatient. Whilst I only read Liverpool forums, RedCafe and this one, I can't recall seeing anything like it. The guy dropped from 3rd to 4th this weekend and you'd think they're bottom half.

Three topics on a notoriously shite fan-forum is not much to base your stuff on imo. It's like getting all your transfer stuff from goal.com or something stupid. Also, one of the topics is a theoretical poll. Seems you Liverpool fans are just as silly getting giddy over stuff like this as those United fans calling for his head.

Has LVG been sacked?

Check the date of the quote. Moyes was sacked before he finished his first season.

@ Bilo - Our favourite Lebanese Liverpool supporter had his doubts about Rodgers' suitability, and I didn't imply the majority of Liverpool fans had those doubts. There was, however, murmurs of "should Rodgers be under pressure". That's why I differentiated Rodgers from Moyes by saying "some called for his head". Nothing to defend; I wasn't having a dig. I just said the fickleness of (some) supporters when faced with missing a CL place further goes to make those who berate Wenger look a bit silly. Wenger has routinely done what Moyes, LVG, and (yes) Rodgers were/are receiving criticism for their inability (hypothesized in the cases of LVG and Rodgers) to accomplish. He was spending considerably less than the United and Liverpool men have when faced with his heaviest pressure, too.

No i saw the date of the quote I just wandered why Pagnell posted it now if LVG hasn't actually been sacked?

Because the-supposed-Pagnell knew folks like you would be flustered.

And because their manager at the time of that quote was promptly sacked and LVG looks to be under more pressure than Rodgers (manager of the club Spear was having a go at).

It's funny you should say that, because this very forum has been defended and labelled reasonable by respected United fans on here, Scruff and Nilsson being its most vocal supporters. But out of interest, what do you think is the best way to overlook the general opinion of a fanbase if not their, by far, biggest internet forum?

And the theoretical poll is in line with my line of argument; that sacking LVG on the basis of him missing out on the top four is bordering ridiculous.

Check the date of the quote. Moyes was sacked before he finished his first season.

Fair enough.

As a sidebar, I don't really get this. He posts like Pagnell, he holds the exact same opinions as Pagnell and people treat him as Pagnell. How does it make any difference at all whether or not he actually is Pagnell?

I don't really know. I just put the disclaimer in there in case it actually isn't Pagnell. I disagree, though. I don't think he posts all that similar to Pagnell.

No idea where else to but this but Tyler Blackett has just been sent off for Man United U21s

RED CARD: Tyler Blackett has been sent off for the U21's for pushing a Sunderland player whilst waiting for a free kick to be taken. :fl:

In not quite sure what I need to do to convince people I'm the same Pagnell that posted on TFF, or even if I'm that bothered that some don't believe it. But regardless, it's funny to see someone claim I don't post like myself. :D

Changing your avatar to the Bill Hicks gun pose one would do the trick.

Text Spear, as you know him in real life, and tell him to text me and I'll vouch for you. I have a lot of integrity and credibility so I can do that for you. But you're definitely Paggers.

Do this and never commit to actual position or opinion. Remain firmly on the fence.

Then we'll believe your the real Pagnell.

The sitting on the fence thing was always bollocks though.

Captain Scumbag can vouch for me, I'll PM him about our old TFF whisky PMs. ;)

Doesn't matter Pagnell, it became the truth.

You need to live up to the legend of Pagnell, the fence sitting, spineless poster of TFF history! Not the actual man, no remembers or cares about him.

Sorry to play Captain Killjoy (since I think most of you of are just having fun with him); but for anyone who is genuinely curious/sceptical, I can confirm he is he "real" Rupert Cornelius Pagnell.

You must have me mistaken for someone else, I've never mentioned redcafe on here or tff. I don't recall Scruff being a "vocal supporter" of it either, he just thinks it's not as bad as Rawk, which isn't saying much. And fwiw, it's definitely not the best place to gauge the general consensus of United fans. Most United fans aren't even on internet forums.

I admit i really didn't think he'd turn it around, i just couldn't see him fixing the defense. Plenty of my posts were immediately after losses/defeats though, extremely knee jerk from my part :p

I really like Rogers, really glad that he's proving me wrong.

It's just that some of your posts kinda feel like a parody of yourself (an exaggerated form of the fence sitting or stating the obvious a few times). I know it doesn't make much sense, but you almost do too good of an impression of yourself.

I would like you to be the real Pagnell...and contrary to what Bilo says I think it does matter if you are the real Pagnell or not. I like debating with Pagnell/real people and not one of the many parody accounts on here.

Who is your celebrity lookalike? And who did TFF liken you to instead? Just testing the waters...

Eh? Are you sure you're not confusing myself with Smat's Pangle account, which clearly was a parody?

Best team in the league
So will Van Gaal be given the same treatment as Moyes should the club retain their status as a team not capable of qualifying for Europe? Though he may achieve an improvement by finishing one place higher than last season. £150 million well spent.

Van Gaal suggested that Man Utd are in need of a 20 goals a season striker. Does this mean they're in the market for a new left back?

"It is true because I cannot deny it, Robin van Persie cannot deny it, Falcao cannot deny it and Rooney is not playing there much any more, but we cannot deny that at this moment we don’t have a striker who scores 20 goals in the season."
