Those examples couldn't get any more bizarre. They've already got 6 strikers and they're linked with signing 37 year old Malcolm Christie, who would need to be tempted out of retirement to play 2nd, maybe 3rd string, not plausible at all..

Surely most people would have grasped what they're supposed to put in those sections, it's not rocket science, so why the examples?

My suspicion is that this was an attempt by Woodworm to showcase their "humour", which would be against forum rules and should result in immediate sanctions.

I would never showcase humour purposefully. I leave that to the professionals

Stolen off L1, think some of the questions are too similar so I've added some general league questions and if anyone fancies adding questions etc then fill your boots but for a bit of fun...

Team Name:

Stockport

Most Important Player:

Considering we don't have a striker that will bang in 20+ we'll be relying on Danny Lloyd and Jon Marsden

One to Watch this season:

Courtney Meppen-Walter has looked class in pre season and fills a few positions.

Best Player:

Lewis Montrose.

Worst Player:

We got rid of our shit players and practically have a new team so impossible to say right now.

Game looking forward to most:

Darlo. A proper club in this shit league.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:

Danny Rowe, shouldn't be at this level.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:

They're all sheds.

End of Season Prediction:

Between 5th and 7th.

Surprise package:

I fancy Telford to challenge for the play offs.

Champions:

Halifax. By a country mile.

Of course you're on a wind up. You would have posted the thread in the championship forum before the non league forum. You're not even talking about a real team in your post.

Yes I don't support a side non league but have a big interest in it so I couldn't put a real team. Sorry for being alive

If you were taking is seriously you wouldn't have put North Ferriby as champions. And you never post in here apart from that thread.

But considering you've apologised for being alive, and rightly so, I'll let it go. RIP.

Thank you. I also post here a fair bit actually. More than the other forums. Tbh I'm interested in people's views on their teams so happy to use this thread. It doesn't really matter

lmao! yep.... but seriously though.... someone's actually 'looking forward' to going to the Gallagher..... yes, it's a new ground for most.... but once you have more than a 1,000 in there, it's a little tough on those who haven't brought along their orange crates or have managed to squeeze into your salubrious seated area.....

Woodworm is "not on the wind up" with his thread. He posts in this section regularly on a multitude of different things.

I will leave this and the other thread running separately on this occasion.

I guess someone else should fill one of these out at some point

Team Name:

Wrexham AFC

Most Important Player:

John Rooney- needs more consistency than he showed at Chester. Has the potential to be the player who makes things work offensively.

Not many superstars in the team though, so this could have been Barry or Newton or any of the others really.

One to Watch this season:

Tyler Harvey

Best Player:

Barry, Rooney, Newton?

Worst Player:

They've all gone. Bakare looks an 'unusual' signing.

Game looking forward to most:

Right now Dover on the 6th.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:

I've always liked Marcus Kelly but he's a but past it now. Akinola from Braintree always looks a decent attacking player. Good age too.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:

York? Good away day, been a few years.

End of Season Prediction:

Around 5th.

Surprise package:

Sutton? I don't know too much about he teams coming up tbh. They seemed to qualify well wih quite a few plaudits about their football.

Champions:

Has to be FGR given how much money theyve thrown at it (and for those arguing they don't have a big budget look at their squad size and the profile of the players in the squad and do some simple maths). Anything other than champions would be huge failure.

Most Important Player:
George Pilkington. Class act at this level and a proper old school centre back.

One to Watch this season:
Danny Rowe. Finished the end of last season fantastically and surprised we managed to keep him.

Best Player:

Kingsley James. Been to the majority of the pre season matches and he looks a class act. Played really well against Macc when I've seen him for Chester and Halifax too. Hopefully an inspired signing.

Worst Player:
Jack Sampson. Very surprised he managed to get a new deal in the Summer. As a striker, he started pretty much every game and only managed 4 goals. As we have lost Kristian Dennis, we are relying on Sampson to score the goals. I just hope JA can help him find his form.

Game looking forward to most:
Torquay first game of the season. I can't wait!

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Conor Jennings from Tranmere. He was here on loan a few seasons back and managed to bag 14 goals in 16 appearances (I think!). We were rumoured to have been in for him this Summer. He would of been the perfect replacement for Dennis.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
York (A) as its a relatively local ground which I haven't been to before.

End of Season Prediction:
If we can sign a striker, I'd say 5th. If not I'd say 9th.

Surprise package:
Boreham Wood. I think they'll be up there.

Most Important Player:
Steve Mcnulty. Transformed our defence last season once he settled in. Now hes had a full pre season with us, and looks slightly less overweight, hopefully he'll be even better.

One to Watch this season:
Jake Kirby. Im sure a few Tranmere fans will disagree with me here, but he seemed to grow in confidence after his successful loan spell at Stockport and from what ive seen and heard hes looked good in pre season. Just depends on how much game time Brabin is willing to give him.

Best Player:

Norwood. The best striker we have had for a long long time. Rumours Oldham were interested in him a couple of weeks ago, but thankfully they seemed to have gone away. Hopefully he can create a good partnership with Cook. If they were playing for Forest Green they could get 80 goals between them.

Worst Player:
Ridehalgh. Probably being a bit harsh, but we need another left back.

Game looking forward to most:

Southport away, my last game before i leave the country.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:

Sean newton from Wrexham probably. He's a left back right?

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Prenton Park

End of Season Prediction:
Without Brabin champions, with Brabin playoffs.

Surprise package:
Southport

Champions:
Dagenham.
