Morelos ? Cannot play....He's away mate....out of contract.
I know . Just saying he was a liability for Rangers. It took him 13 Old Firm games to score . Even missed a pen in a final iirc.

I certainly won't miss him...If he had just stuck to scoring rather than the attitude...

dreadful mate, dreadful....honestly, gutless and clueless. I was really confident we could give Celtic more of a run this season but if that's what we're gonna get then forget it. It was like 11 strangers meeting up for the first time. I was so angry....not so much the result although it's winning games like this that win titles but the lack of desire. Beale best get working out what he's gonna do on Wednesday....the board have backed him...it is his team....no excuses now.

Not a lot to get excited about so far....I haven't been impressed whatsoever. Butland is a good keeper and the only outfield player I personally am happy with so far is Cantwell...he is our midfield dynamo....wants the ball all the time and gets in the box. We were gash against Killie and struggled at time s against Livi....started and finished well but in between we were lacklustre. Saturday against Morton was dire tbh....I just can't work out what's going on....slow, predictable build up yet Beale when interviewed gives the impression he wants that to change ? Just edged it in Europe and tomorrow will be difficult....I'm not exactly confident but what will be will be. Yep, Killie did well again yesterday knocking Celtic out of the League Cup...now I'm not going to have a dig at them because any team can have a bad day and get beaten by a club you'd normally hammer but what I will criticise is a large section of their support up here for their arrogance...you reap what you sow.....no treble now....lol!

better performance and decent result against PSV but once again we shoot ourselves in the foot with poor defending....away to Ross County early kick off today.....let's see/hope that the improvement continues.

Champions League is simply a step too far....no embarrassment in that. Hopefully progress from the group in Europa League. A win last week at Dingwall but once again a split performance....tremendous first half but absolutely abysmal 2nd 45 and I have yet to be convinced by Sim, Dessers, Cifuentes....I just don't see what they bring to the team. Raskin has regressed since last season imo and our defence is shambolic at times as was shown against PSV away. Huge game today....one that I won't make any prediction...it's a wait and see because if we win we go ahead of Celtic...if we lose we can forget about the league.

Celtic win 1-0 but Rangers had their chances and certainly will feel aggrieved about a goal ruled out maybe harshly for a soft foul at 0-0.

Celtic will take that and it evens out over the season. Kyogo the difference as for other OF games.

mate there was was absolutely NO foul, soft or harsh....I've read various opinions saying both ways but those claiming the referee was correct are wrong! Reason 1).....there is absolutely NOTHING in Law 12 where it states that what Dessers did was an infringement. There seems to be some uninformed opinions that Dessers had to touch the ball before nicking it away from the Celtic defender who then 'kicked Dessers' .....absolute pish....there is NOTHING in the rule that states that (and I'll show the rule in a moments). Reason 2).....the incident shouldn't even had VAR interfere and call Robertson (ref) to look at it because it WASN'T a clear and obvious error. The problem I had first half, the disallowed goal apart, was that for some idiotic reason we stood off Celtic and allowed them far too much room as the built up from the back instead of harassing them and closing them down. Mind you I must give credit to Kyogo on his goal...he took it well but shocking defending from us. I'm yet to be convinced about these new signings, they've basically shown very little so far. Anyway, here's what I was talking about with part of Law 12...

IMPEDING THE PROGRESS OF AN OPPONENT WITHOUT CONTACT

Impeding the progress of an opponent means moving into the opponent’s path to obstruct, block, slow down or force a change of direction when the ball is not within playing distance of either player.

in this case the ball was withing playing distance....so no foul.

another half hearted display in Perth last weekend...0-2 win but a ground out performance more than anything else. Danilo took his header well but ended up with a broken cheekbone as a result. I just have no enthusiasm with what I've seen so far. I know it's early but we can forget the league.

tbh mate....I'm far more concerned as to how we compete domestically...what I have seen so far has been totally unacceptable....we've had a few spells in games where it looked like we may be on the up but then we just sink back to the obvious slow football build up with apparently no plan or urgency we seem to have adopted. Beale says publicly that it is not acceptable but he is the boss and is ultimately responsible for how it pans out...it is his team, he brought players in and so far they have not performed to expectations....not one has impressed me at any rate. Frigging annoying thing is Celtic are no great shakes at the moment but they're certainly better than us.....that who we have to overtake but so far that is unlikely..........I did say before the season began I was feeling confident and Beale should get at least this season....but my confidence has gone and I doubt Beale will last the season unless things turn around big time. We play Livingston tonight in the league cup quarter finals.....Hmmm!

Don't let the 4-0 win fool you....the standard of our play was abysmal...1-0 first half...kick on you'd think ? No fucking chance...back to the same old predictable slow sideways, backwards shit. Same second half the a bit of a flourish to end with. Not good enough imho.....I expect more from my club. On the day a true Rangers LEGEND passed away (Jim Forrest) these players out on that park tried and failed to show they are good enough to wear the Gers shirt. Aberdeen at home on Saturday....could be tasty.

I dare not ask about today !!
Lol.....ask away. It was the nadir, so far, of our season and tbh it was coming. I don't understand why we used the style of play we did because it was getting us nowhere. The signings, Butland apart, have been dismal and have added nothing to the squad imo. Where we go from here I don't know but we have to get the domestic scene corrected first and then Europe follows. AS for names mentioned - Lampard, Allardyce....do not fill me with confidence and I hope to fuck they're not considered. Kevin Muscat...would he actually be mentioned if he hadn't worked with and in the same leagues as Ange Postecoglu ? I doubt it. Time will tell and I await with interest.

and the same old same old shite in Cyprus on Thursday evening. Players are just not good enough. I may be wrong but I struggle to see anything but bang average footballers that have been brought in, Butland apart.

on the surface a 0-3 victory looks good but the overall standard is deplorable. Sima is a bit of an enigma....runs about like a headless chicken but is sticking the ball in the net however the others, Butland apart, are red rotten. Looks like Phillipe Clemente is the jolly to get the manager's job....

A far better performance against Hibs and a confidence boosting 4-0 victory....attitude improved and the high tempo was, for me, a sight to behold. I realise everything hasn't changed overnight to everything in the garden being rosy but must say if this improvement continues then I look forward to the rest of the season. Away to Sparta Prague on Thursday then at home to Hearts next Sunday....will be interesting.

Great point in Pargue last night. They dominated first half because we gave them far too much time on the ball in build up and far too much space wide. Butland had a few great saves to keep us in it. Second half we were better and could have, with a bit of luck, actually won the game. Again I felt our attitude was far better than what was going down under Beale....long may it continue. Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday.

Certain left it late today!

Guess that shows good desire and the heart to keep going.

Hearts not happy with the penalty - one of those that gets given once in a while.

Rangers were poor first half. Not saying it because it's Rangers but I fecking love when defenders are penalised for Shirt pulling and holding opponents. They get away with it more often than not and far too often refs are far too lenient. Still, they did what we've been screaming for them to do, fight till the end and they got their just reward! And a fantastic display up at Dundee midweek which deservedly resulted in a 0-5 win. So onto Hampden for the League cup semi yesterday again with Hearts as the opposition. A plodding first half resulted in halftime changes which seemed to inspire the team as did, no doubt, a bollocking from Clement. Anyway we destroyed Hearts and won 3-1 so int the final against the sheep in December.

Not late mate....a fairly lack lustre first half but scored two within 10 minutes of the restart and a third later on. Naismith (Hearts boss) is never happy....he's another one that can't accept that things on occasion go against you & still won't accept when he's shown to be talking pish. Notice he wasn't complaining with the soft penalty Hearts got....a fud of a man.

Last night we managed a decent home 2-1 victory against Sparta Prague with Danilo again on the score card. Clement is making a difference but the one telling thing is that he is horrified at the players lack of fitness to his standards. Long may the improving continue.

Trouble at Celtic .

This hasn’t gone down well .

The Green Brigade banned .

think it's only 200-250 of them banned. They have been repeatedly warned by the club about behaviour and political banners etc after the numerous fines they have cost the club yet these goons seem to think they run the club. However the club have kowtowed to them in the past due their demand that the players do not wear a strip adorned with a poppy and for numerous years Celtic have agreed to this...COWARDS!!!!! And they allow a banner like this to be displayed ?
