Never mind all this talk of who will and won’t stay up next season. First and foremost there has to be fans back in stadiums for next season to be financially viable. Can’t see league 1&2 clubs voting to play on next season without fans or a financial package in place from the Premier league.

The rules are that full stadiums can happen from 21st June as far as I can see. Everyone will have received one vaccine dose by the beginning of the season.

we had Hardcastle, White and Platt on loan from Blackburn pre-Dunn. Dunn didn't bring anyone in from Blackburn this season (other than signing Platt on a permanent deal.)

Platt's been out injured since January (i think) - was our best centre half before that - might struggle to get straight into the team when fit , due to the form of the current 3.

Yes it is a big “if” but that’s the plan. I know there’s concerns on variants coming across but some protection does come from the existing vaccines and providers are now trying to tweak them to cope with the new variants. The only thing which should lead to a new lockdown post June would be a completely new virus which would probably finish off our economy in any case!

Its all about the economy whatever the government does. They don't want their paymasters losing too many customers.
