QPR started quite well but have dropped off lately, seemingly drawing too many games. We have won our last 3 league games, although were less than convincing in our last game against Preston.

The majority of our first 11 didn't start at Man City so shouldn't be too fatigued. Batth or Coady could possibly be rested though as they played 120 minutes of non stop defending. Norris is also due his legue debut sooner rather than later, an excellent goalkeeper and too good to be sat on our bench. Possible starting XI.

Ruddy
Coady - Boly - Miranda
Doherty ------------------- Douglas
Neves - Saiss
Cav' --------------- Jota
Bonatini
Prediction: 1-2 to Wolves.

No changes from me except Coady in the middle and Boly left, which is how we started the season. Coady seems to have become indispensable due to that strange dropped deep player maker Centre half role he has, I don't think we have anyone who could drop in there and replace his long passing.

Didn't pay any attention to the other night what so ever, how did Costa do? Is he still looking sluggish and well off the pace?

Costa did OK. His service was very limited as expected away to Man City, but he did miss a golden 1 on 1 chance. Still like you say though, he is still off the pace. He's not had any pre season so I think it'll take a month for him to get back to the standard that he was at last season for us.

Also I don't read much into transfer rumours nowadays but I saw Newcastle and West Brom were both linked with Coady for 7m in todays papers. Coady has been very impressive this season but if a 7m bid came in for him I think it would be difficult for the club to turn down. I think it would be a fair price for him, and I think Boly/Hause/Bennett would be capable of filling in for him.

Surely made up, he is only valuable to Wolves in that very specific position, you couldn't even play him at either the other two CB slots in that 3, and he'd be horrific in a CB pairing. He is effectively more of a sweeper, not necessarily a ball playing one as it's up to the other two to do that, his role is to hit those targeted passes into the channels. It's odd to explain but it makes sense to those of us that have seen it!

I will confess to not seeing QPR enough this year but I am strangely confident that we can nick a result in this.

We have been playing relatively well and deserved more points than what we have got. At home, we are pretty decent. Outplayed Fulham and lost.Recovered against a form team at the time Millwall and should have won. Should have beat Burton. There are more point in the team than the table suggest but our away form is awful. No wins since February so no wonder we are low down.

But, at home on a small pitch we should be quite compact. Holloway seems to think that you guys prefer to counter attack so I do not expect us to be breaking forward too much.

I can see this being a 2-1 either way; let's go with QPR as we do well against good teams. Sometimes.

Wasn't your last away win against us?

Well shit. We weren't at it today and QPR deserve their win. Tough game on Tuesday away to Norwich.

Sounds like both wingbacks were dire. Not seen any highlights but everyone I have spoke to said we didnt deserve even a point.

Well done QPR (what was it that Owl fan used to write after every game!?)

If only I backed my own prediction. I thought I had but didn't actually put it on.

Couple of years back I was going to bet on us to win 3-2 when you were 2-0 up at Molineux. Thought I put the bet on but didn't press submit. Cost me £200.

But yeah, 3 points, get in.

Was travelling during this game so was disappointed to see the result, but not particularly surprised. I think smart managers are realising how to neutralise Neves et al. And Holloway too. Deserved win, it seems. Sombrero dude will be happy.
