John Coleman deserves credit where it's due for how well they've bounced back after dropping out of the playoff places. When we played them they had lost the previous three and were one of the worst sides I'd seen up to that point. I honestly thought that was it for their promotion chances and they'd end up lower mid table.

If we lose more ground on Accrington tomorrow, I'll happily concede the title to them.

And based on 2018 form, they deserve it.

It’s already done I think, needed to win both games over Easter I think to have a chance.

I can’t seen them losing too many whereas us....

About a month ago, nearly everyone on here was saying that Stanley's run in was too tough, we would slip up and start dropping points, with some even predicting automatics were beyond us. Weird how perceptions and opinions can change so much.
Tipping point was beating Luton. I said at the time it was the title decider and I think that still stands. Luton players looked distraught at full time, would have been hard to get over. We look more resilient.

The title is long gone, no doubt in my mind. I thought Accrington were lucky on the day at KR but the form they are in is way more than that so probably a case of making your own.

We are nowhere near consistent enough to compete with a side in that kind of form. I'm much more concerned with what the teams below us do than Accy at this point who will, I think, win the league at a canter now. And fair fucks to them if so because it would be an unreal achievement in budget terms never mind the deficit they have overhauled since the turn of the year.

You need to have the luck to win the title. They were lucky at Mansfield Friday on numerous things, that the sending off went their way (no arguments on it) we missed a few chances, the ball didn't fall etc. We had similar fortune when we won the conference. Sometimes it just happens

I would hazard a guess, as I don’t know, that they have escaped lightly on the injury front, too.

Personally I have not accepted we are assured automatic promotion yet let alone the title, things can still change, we have ground out results mostly by the odd goal and yes many of them I didn’t think we were the best side on the day but that’s football the odd mistake here the wrong decision there that decides matches and league positions,

I said at the time I didn’t think it would decide anything, primarily due to the amount of games left to play and your fixtures looked very tough.

The way it played out though with I think you being incredibly fortunate to get away with a few things, us just missing a bit of killer touch and of course THAT ending, it definitely broke an already quite mentally weak team still further. The reverse is also likely true, easy to think it’s just meant to be when stuff like that happens, gives massive confidence.

Can’t argue with it though, it all plays a part in where you finish and you deserve it for this incredible run. The difference is I think you’ve found ways to win at key points whereas we have found ways to lose and drop points.

Absolutely. I don't like to bemoan luck, but it seems to have deserted us in recent weeks, bar maybe the lack of a penalty for Barnet a week or so ago.

Gary Player: "The harder you work, the luckier you get".

I don't think you'll get away with the 'dark arts' in League One though, as much.

The ‘Dark Arts’ work at every level to some extent, Juve being a prime example.
In the 4th tier of English football it’s so common, I see it every week by Notts and various opposition

If you don’t indulge in it you either have an extremely naive manager or you are as thick as ****!

After two 1-1 draws over Easter we are clinging onto the coat tails of the play offs. 3 behind Coventry in the last spot.

We are too consistent I fear and suspect we’ll be in this division next season. Hopefully with a manager who knows how to get us up and not another fraud like Flitcroft.

Accy play us in two weeks time. I very much hope we can spoil their party.
Shame about the Wycombe result today, think they are getting away now

Nah, you're still in with a decent chance as you lot will beat us, and then you'll only be two points behind Wycombe with the same number of games played.

We've 6 games against 6 teams we should beat.

It's still there, there's still a good chance.

They've Crewe at home on Saturday, we need to win that.

Well in agent flitcroft.

6 played
0 wins.
And you’ve got a Flitcroft pre season and transfer window to look forward to.

I hope you don’t need a keeper. He specialises in signing absolute howlers.

We've already got one which had made 2 massive mistakes this weekend. We're fucked

Little bit of breathing space for us now. We don't play in the league for a couple of weeks so we'll see how things pan out before then.

Only Mansfield and Swindon play before we do again.

It does make you wonder how any of the 4 promoted clubs will fare in L1 next season. Without virtually entire squad overhauls a real struggle beckons. Those hoofing sides will get nowhere and there is a distinct lack of quality throughout. Yes, of course, I’d love to sneak in via the play offs but I can’t think of any of our current players who are L1 standard.
