Four.

We have scored 4 home league goals this season.

Today was the 10th League One fixture at Boundary Park, and we have failed to score in 8 of them.

Including aways, the total is 12 in 21.

We were ridiculously toss at times today.

How bad can it get? Under 30 goals for the entire season? Someone in the top 4 divisions to outscore us entirely?

I'm surprised Banks isn't knocking in 15 a season from midfield for you #dynamo

Or better still why not merge seeing as you are both fucked financially, your gates should double upto about 6k, Oldhambury.

Unpopular opinion alert.. Also off topic.

I would support a merger of the three clubs IF the ground was in a suitable location equidistant between the 3 towns of Bury, Dale and Oldham. And only if they thought of a better name than 'Manchester North End'.

Better football and bigger crowds with a stadium still close to Bury and links to the town is some way. I know I will get shot down, but you read that article from 1999 and the problems are still exactly the same, if not worse with the rise of City and $alford.

What's in it for us? You're both a mess.

And I'd never want a merger with you both. I wouldn't be remotely interested in a name change and location change, it wouldn't be my club anymore.

You are also by far the smallest out of the 3 clubs so there is that I suppose. You may be on a high right now, and fair play to you, but it won't last. Not on your crowds, if Keith Hill leaves Rochdale are finished, and I think all Dale fans know that.

I've got to ask you to elaborate the "finished" part of your post. Do you mean the club would cease to exist? League position would likely take a hit if Hill left again but the club's finances etc are in good health, probably the best they've been and that's despite an apathetic local population preferring to armchair support Manchester Blue/Red (delete dependent on who is successful this decade). The noises out of the club suggest a proactive attitude to pricing to attract some of the lapsed fans next season. Given our new Chief Exec had a good track record with Hartlepool turning their pisspoor crowds into less piss poor crowds I'm hopeful for a good result. And who knows, we might do the unthinkable and actually get in the play offs and go up. That'd make life easier. Anyway, i digress...
Bury literally will be "finished" if all of their debt is called in or a successful winding up petition is put forward to HMRC.

Even if Dale were up shit creek financially I wouldn't want a merged club. I can imagine it all being too MK Dons-y. I'd honestly rather watch a Dale cut their cloth accordingly in, say, the Conference North than an OldBuryDale hybrid struggle to be a mid sized League 1 club which is really all I could see such a project amounting to.

Hopefully another nail in your coffin Boxing Day. Hopefully more than Bury who brought 3 men and a dog, 4 in total then.

So what you mean to say is you travel in numbers in comparison to your 3000 home gates.

Let's be honest, all three of your attendances are put to shame by a tinpot part-time football club not a million miles away struggling in the regional leagues, so this whole debate embarrasses you all equally.

You're a million miles away from being in any of our position though and tbh that's what really matters.

People that get wet over crowd numbers deserve all the ridicule they get.

How is it putting us to shame? You average 2,400. So you have 2,400 die hards? Managed 4,000 last week for a local derby well done..

If we were to reform we'd be getting around the same gates in that league. Stockport only managed around 4,500 when they were in the league so it's not "putting us to shame" at all. What is shameful is how a club like Stockport has spent 4 seasons in the vanarama north league.

You call it shameful I'd call it schadenfreude

What sort of crowds would Dale, Bury and Oldham get if they were in Connie North? Serious question, not a dig.

No idea and I genuinely hope none of us find out. I'm sure I've said on here before I'd rather Stockport in league 1/2 than some of the bankrolled non league non entities we've seen in the last 15 years or so.

I'll add that Stockport fans are bloody brilliant for almost all of them sticking by their club. Fair play to them.
