I'm just hoping our trip to the Shay goes ahead, our first visit since a 0-0 back in August 2001. It will be another new ground for me, expecting to see Dave Hanson and Geoff Horsfield statues somewhere............

Some tight looking games this weekend including real relegation 6 pointer at Solihull.

Could potentially be our last home game ever as HUFC, home end is sold out, certainly hundreds of Boro fans making their way across as well as a bus load or two of Rangers fans randomly? It's all setup for a great atmosphere, could've done with Wrexham selling some more tickets like, less than 200 sold on the last count? The club wanted to segregate the away end since Wrexham hadn't sold well but Cleveland Police back heeled it, I'd imagine since it's still pay on the day the away end will have more than just away fans in it.

Despite the incredible response from the town and all the positivity that this shambles has brought we're still a god awful outfit on the pitch, Watson has gone back to St Johnstone and Franks our top scorer is now out of contract and ineligible, unless something changes tomorrow , we've got injuries on top of injuries and a backroom staff lacking any sort of nous to get the team playing in any shape or form, we're not even sure if we have our home kit back from the launderette which was being held over lack of payment, we'll be the skins on Saturday.

I think we're in for a beating but the result on Saturday is pretty insignificant win lose or draw, it's what happens before or shortly after the 25th January that really matters.

I think someone should bring back the match day preview opening post on these threads. They were good, although I can't 100% which posters did them.

Dover always lose to Boreham Wood. Put all your money on a home win.

Cox to do a proper number on us. Half our players want to sign for Guiseley anyway, so we'll see if they do him a few favours.

Looking forward to the league leaders visiting. We like to play, they like to play. Should be a really good game. I’m a bit shocked by the price of Macclesfield and I think I’m going to have back them at above 2/1. Crazy odds when you think I backed us at home to tranmere at 2/1. I think the bookies have slipped up here. We are the form team of the division but we’ve been pretty poor in our last 2 games.

Looking forward to my first visit to Mill Farm , I would take a point from this one and be quite happy as long as we keep Danny Rowe , not that one , not that one either but that one quiet.

Sutton v Dagenham is an old school Isthmian league fixture. Broadcast live to the nation. Can't wait

Some tasty fixtures there.. got to get our business done and we’ll gain on someone. Next 4 games will likely either get us within a handful of points of Macclesfield or cut adrift battling for a top 5 spot.

theresa maybe's boys visit the home of the Jeremy Corbyn song.... lets hope maidenhead are as indecisive as the wobbly one . We have a minor cabinat reshuffle with cook definitely being demoted and mcnulty rumoured to be not playing however I believe he is going to refuse to be demoted off the pitch and will leave mellons office with extra responsibilities on the pitch.

Maidenhead will go 3-0 up and their manager will call a snap substitution to strengthen his position on midtabrexit however it will backfire horribly on him as rovers come storming back to score 3 quick goals to create a hung game . In injury time maidenheads manager offers harry kane 10 billion to come on and score the winner which he duly does .

After the game the manager regrets the money spent bribing kane to help him with record number of players queuing in the physios room waiting to be looked at , cuts in the kitchens meaning the youth team going undernourished and the stand roof blows leaving record numbers of people exposed to the elements when any decent society would have them under cover of a night.

and in the sane world.... we were awful at maidenhead and owe them one....2-0 rovers

Do Fylde never play away? I swear every time i look at fixtures they’re home!

New Year’s Day they hosted us and have since played both Chester and Guiseley at home with Macc to come tomorrow. 30th December was our last home game.

We're on our 3rd coach going up. We'll sell a decent amount on the day.

We won two home games this past week! Granted against inferior opposition and in cup competitions, but whatever. That said, probably back to a draw/defeat tomorrow.

Pitch inspection at 6.30pm this evening at Nethermoor. Not a good sign, all this snow is a pain.

Big chance for us to make some ground on Macc, can see them dropping points at Fylde. We've probably got the easiest game of the teams in the play-off spots, although Ebbsfleet won't give us an easy ride I'm sure. Will be interesting to see how we get on in our first game without Mensah - we've replaced him with Fabian Robert who's out injured for a month.
Would take a scrappy 1-0.

I think for it to be a 6 pointer both teams have to be in the relegation picture.

That is Solihull v Woking.

If i said the game had a 50/50 chance of the game going ahead i would be doubling its chances. Temperatures barely above freezing and three days of snow and rain. If it isn't frozen off it will probably be waterlogged. See you some random Tuesday night in February/March.

Crazy Imp used to do a cracking match preview thread. Come back Lincoln!

If we play like we have been, then I see nothing less than a 3-0 home win. If we play like we can, then we may sneak something.

We need a second striker alongside Kedwell, that is when we will finally start to find our form.

Kenny Clark is now out for the season so could so with another centre back. Dave Winfield hasn't long come back from four months out either.

I didn't expect anything above mid table this season, so we're doing alright. Just a shame our next three are Shots, Boreham Wood and Tranmere.

Fucksake. Guiseley is an easy one for us to get to, and now will probably move to a Tuesday night.

Some game that was, never thought I'd see us score four at home and still get walloped, fucking Ugarte ran the show.

A takeover is already in the offing, hopefully all continues to goes well.

Plenty of the top teams playing each other over the next 4-6 weeks finishing with us playing Aldershot (17th Feb) then Tranmere (20th Feb) both away - and those 2 both playing Bromley as their other game that week.

Many twists and turns before we finally finish 10th this season.

Why?
The last thing we need is a fixture pile up with our threadbare squad :emb:
