For once everything was perfect. We had the crowd, our star player had his Mum and Dad over from Holland with features on BBC local news, ex manager back to stick it up us, we broke the crowd record and rather than implode we played very well and won at a canter.
Great day for Notts fans.

Did we deserve to win? No

Do I care? No

Up the fucking Stones!
First of all, well done stones. We had most possession and chances but you took yours. Secondly, we had 2 stone wall penalties not given. The goal in injury time being ruled out is a puzzle to Barnet fans. Lino never flagged for anything, but after a scramble and the ball in the net, the ref goes to lino and then cancels goal, Why? Thirdly, just before KO, stewards and Police by us were saying that there were more than 800 already in the Barnet end with more still outside. They let all fans in and stand in the shaded areas. Finally, ground capacity is supposed to be 4,000, so with 2600+ announced, where the hell could you get another 1400 in the ground. As i say, no sour grapes and we move on.

There it is, the standard Bromley shithouse last minute leveller. The inevitable that just cannot be stopped

Don’t think Bromley had a single shot on target but we were wasteful and punished.

Second half was miles better than anything under Rusk this season.

Just caught a bit of the highlights show… are Kings Lynn okay? Were they drunk?

Between them and Weymouth some absolutely amazing banter defending on show.

I was expecting one of those old school Turkish hostile atmospheres In Ruislip. Just didn't happen. Bees certainly didn't deserve to lose but that's football for you. Wealdstone fans had a great afternoon.

Beat of luck to Wealdstone in the next round.

Played as poorly as we have all season, Stockport fail to take their chances, then they help us out at the end. You love to see it.

Feel for Ian today. Like turning up at a family party with your new girlfriend, her ex is there as he's a "Family friend" who's dad is great mates with your girlfriend's Dad and has been for years.

Do these 600 Solihull fans have it in them to get a "Only here to see the Ardley" chant out?

Sadly not, most likely.

So in the end it was more like everyone was shaking Neal’s hand at first glad to see him again but then realising the lass had done a bit better for herself now and chatting to the new chap. Neal ended up getting pissed off and sneaking out by the back door muttering ‘fucking slag, fuck off’ under his breath before buying a bottle of wine on the way home and watching Strictly by himself.

Hopefully we can keep stepping it up under Challinor. Still got a way to go but under him, we'll be far more like sum of our parts IMO. Signs look good. Dagger that late equaliser though.

Please tell me Burchnall did a face and/or head touch of Ardley during the post match shake of hands.

The ultimate macho Managerial move.

Kings Lynn gave us a few goals today but without player great we won comfortably. Fancy us to score against anybody in this league unfortunately I don't fancy us to keep a clean sheet against anybody. We just can't concentrate for 90mins. If we can click defensively and add a midfield in Jan we will be flying. Lots of ifs though

We ran you out of town to be honest and I still think we have a lot of improving to do.

Haven’t seen us play like that in a long time. Unbelievable performance, we looked a bit nervy early on and worried when it went to 1-1 that the floodgates would open, but we held firm and second half fully deserved our win. Honestly didn’t think Grimsby played that badly (not as bad as some are saying on here), look a good side that play good football & will be in the mix come May. Also the right winger (number 18 I think?) looked v lively, and not sure how that chance at the end didn’t go in. Superb numbers from them too, that was a proper atmosphere and a brilliant game of football.
Only 1 point off Southend now and some winnable games coming up - play like today and we’ll be okay.

Was a bit worried pre-match when Burch took his lead from Ardley on where to lay the remembrance wreaths. Judging by his post-match though, Neal ended up more sadly thinking about what he’d lost.

The wreaths were always going to be a key part of the game. I'd forgotten completely about that aspect of the day.

Ardley's big day out ruined. I like guy but today is the only reason he ended up going to Solihull let's be honest. Been doing an Advent calendar for it since August.

I'm sad but then I'm happy for the wide eyed Burchnall who never fails to look slightly stunned both in defeat and victory.

Agree the ref was poor, didn’t clamp down on diving and gave a lot of nothing free kicks.
Greenidge absolutely nicking a living on attacking corners just stands in the middle of the 6 yard box like a statue.
We didn’t play that well but were rarely troubled by them, goal at the end disallowed for handball. That’s why no flag, as officials are miked up.
For a full time team their fitness is poor.

Glad they didn’t like the ground, they‘d only steal it.

I didn’t see it to be honest. Ardley got a good clap from some in the main stand before ko and responded in kind, but when the same people clapped him at the end as he walked off he disappeared down the tunnel without even glancing up looking like he’d just been told his cat had died. Anyway, that should have put that one to bed.

As for the game, good performance against a pretty physical team. Defended well against a side with some right units (Callum Howe is massive, and Hudlin has to be seen to be believed) looking to get the ball into the box plenty, which was pleasing given possibly our best defender was out with rumoured Covid. Hit the post twice and also missed a sitter of a double chance in the second half while Solihull didn’t have a shot on target, could have been 4-0 and it wouldn’t have been unfair. Great performance from Joel Taylor.

No get your facts right.

Ruislip Manor FC paid no rent to play there and the lease was owned by RMSSC, which was about to fold, 4 Wealdstone fans (2 were directors) took over the debts and the lease. Wealdstone reserves were supplying players and management for RMFC to complete the season.

They then effectively folded as the football side had no income and no way of paying towards facilities.

Has TK held that fans vote on moving out of Underhill yet?

Like you did from Ruislip Manor.

I think it was obvious the occasion meant a lot more than 3 points to Wealdstone fans. Personally I loved the ground, reminded me of the good away days in the late 80s watching Bees or an FA Cup tie. However any ground that is 75% full is decent.
