Chester are in trouble for me.

It's an 8 horse race for the last two relegation spots. Any points we can get at Barrow will have made it a fantastic Easter weekend.

I'd say anyone from Chester down need to be looking over their shoulders. Anyone from Southport and above are safe unless they lose every game until the end of the season. I still think 47/48 will be more than enough to stay up.

Also Wrexham fans, what was the issue with one of your coaches pre-game? Pulled over on the motorway with police surrounding it.

Did Jon Nolan manage to leave the pitch with his cock intact? Or was it fully lodged up Sean Newton's backside?

But that would still make it intact no?
Unless Newtons backide has razor wire in it.

Something to do wih the fans drinking on the coach. Seems bizarre.
Illegal to drink on coaches. Police would have to assume fans were drunk and likely to cause trouble. Tranmere fans consistently reminded of this when the trust ran their own coaches a couple years back.

Where on earth was the Guiseley team that fought so hard against FGR, Grimsby, Tranmere and Dover?
Same players on the pitch today but looked like they had never seen a football before in their lives. A truly dreadful waste of time today, embarrassing :hb::bang:

You're in trouble Steve, it's a proper dogfight down there now.
With Mark Bower sending Liam Dickinson out on loan and Steve Drench not being selected I'm thinking there's been some kind of bust up behind the scenes which would be the kiss of death for us.
Todays game in strong wind and lashing rain was made for Dicko up front. We so need him putting himself about giving defenders a hard time but that's no longer possible.

Guisly will go down now, the lack of quality in their squad has caught up with them. It will be a shame because they came up here the right way, no one is throwing money at it, but it means they have in essence a Conference North squad, which is the top of their natural range. This is a pityless league and without the quality required to stay here, you will perish. Only one place to be sorted now for the rest of us. :ds:

Surprisingly we turned in a great performance today after some dour games in recent weeks. Our new favourite Jordan Williams had his best game yet, bagging two good goals and rattling the bar with a half volley - should be a star of this league next year.
Chester were nowt special - maybe shaded the first half, but never had big spells on top. Keeper was crap, Alabi was quiet.

Our fans a disgrace once more. It's getting to be every game - people try to defend it, but more often than not I'm ashamed to be associated with them.
Chanting during the minute silence, chanting horrendous things that don't need repeating, getting on the pitch, smoke bombs, even heard one lad having a go at a steward because there was only one person serving at the snack bar. Totally agree that Barrow fans are among the worst.

My first and probably only home game this season today. Left pleasantly surprised, there's a positive atmosphere around BP that wasn't there when I was a regular a few years ago.

Jon Nolan is a tidy little player. Impressed with him and Toto, who I am often a big critic of. Wrexham played some wonderful football in spells but we were generally good throughout. Disappointed in Bogle for doing nothing in his 10 minutes but glad to see him still celebrating the way he did. I see a lot of Andy Cook in him, clearly a confidence player.

I didn't even think we shaded the first half, we were good for about 15 minutes when it lashed down and you seemed to go to pieces. We were absolutely terrible on the whole, couldn't even describe what I thought of our second half effort to be honest.

To be fair to your fans, the majority were absolutely fine, but there were a group of complete nutters directly behind the goal. They were apparently causing some problems in the city centre before the game as well. I've seen some oddballs in the away end before but they are right up there.

Alfreton 1-1 Gloucester City (Smith 30, Webb 88)

Better than last week. But Gloucester were by far the better side for much of the game though. We just look like a team just seeing the season out and not prepared to bust a gut in doing so.

Gloucester dominated the second half from the first whistle to the last. A MOTM performance from Matt Duke was not enough to deny Gloucester a deserved point. You could make a case for them getting all 3.

Speaking to the Gloucester press man its been the same all season. Excellent build up play but no end product or killer instinct.

Vey impressed by their front three. Particularly number 10 Louis Robles.

I was surprised at just how bad you were. We are capable of crumbling under the slightest bit of pressure, but your lads didn't seem to grasp the simple principle of putting the ball into the box may result in some chances. A bit step towards safety for us, but I worry for you guys. I'd rather you didn't go down as Guiseley is one of the most local games for me!

Shocking game today but McQuilkin's goal was absolutely brilliant a volley from the edge of the box into the corner.

Sounds about right, but I guess that's the natural thing to do when you've barely ever left you're own town. I sometimes wonder how they've managed to get themselves dressed.
I hope you saw our forward put a pitch invader on his arse when he tried celebrating with the players?

We've been told for years now that drinking on the coach is punishable with a £1,500 fine. Not sure if it's true though.

Really!? haha no I didn't see that. I did see one of them fall on his arse trying to clamber over the wall though.

Nolan has been superb since he arrived, not at all what i was expecting, even in games where we have been poor Nolan has still stood out for me.

He stood out at our place too. The rest of your midfield just need to learn to have someone drop in as cover when he runs forward with the ball.

Actually most Chester fans agree he's a massive improvement on Jon Worsnop. He can actually catch a cross. I hope we never sign another player from Alfreton.
