Great game by the lads today. Apart from the customary freak goal, we defended very well.

Leicester really didn't have any clue tbh. But Very impressed with post match interview by Ranieri. Praised us for how we played. "Contrast that with the interview by the "manager" of the second best team in Manchester after being humiliated by Pep."

Great result, but some comical play by Lucas and Mignolet at times. Klopp still has a lot to sort out defensively, and this match had me again wondering why there wasn't more activity in the transfer window to sort that back line out or bring in a proper replacement for Mignolet rather than just competition.

I predicted Leicester would finish around 8th this season, despite being champions. That could be optimistic looking at their play yesterday. I don't remember them playing as hopeless as that last season. They only scored because it was handed to them on a plate.

Very good attacking display. Defence is still suspect however there were only 2 natural defenders playing but it does need to be addressed in January if it continues.

Firmino, Mane and in particular Lallana were awesome.

Leicester will be fine they just couldn't handle us. They were also poor last season at Anfield.

Chelsea away on Friday, that should be fun!

Hendo gets a lot of stick but he was great yesterday. His positioning as holding midfielder and passing was on point (2 of them played important part in the goals we scored).

How good has Lallana been lately? I've always defended him despite the fact that he frustrates with his lack of end product, but it's always been clear he has ability. He should be getting into double figures goal wise based on his ability and it's very nice that he's starting to add goals to his game at long last. I also thought Henderson played his role really well and it was such a shame he couldn't cap it off near the end when he skied a bit of a sitter.

Aye Lallana has really come on under Klopp, I always thought he was a but of a powderpuff player, did things neat and tidy without any end product, but now he's getting goals and assists and never goes missing in games like he used to do and is finally justifying his pricetag. Most in form English player at the moment.

I wonder if he continues his improvements, both at club and country level, certain posters on here will acknowledge it.

Also worth mentioning how solid James Milner was at left-back. I admit, I used to think he was a pretty crap footballer and felt like leaving my girlfriend and moving to some far away country the day he signed for us. It was even worse for me than when we signed Stewart Downing! But he's proven to be a very good signing for us, one that never gives anything less than a 7 out of 10 usually no matter where he plays, and I love his attitude and commitment. Now I see why all the managers he's played for rate him so highly as both a person and as a player.

He has improved greatly, the finish against Slovakia so late on was great, too many player would have just smashed it, he was cultured enough to take the touch.

As for Liverpool, id agree he has flattered to deceive in recent seasons but he looks much improved, was always likely to set up goals but didn't seem to score enough himself that look on the change along with Mane having a good start positive for Liverpool. Pity defence is still shocking.

It's true though. A bad result or performance and players like Henderson get absolutely ripped to pieces, have a decent game in a win and your lot big them up as though they're top drawer.

People are just praising him for having a good game. No one is hyping him as a top drawer or world class player (i.e. Pogba).

Indeed, did more than that entire Utd midfield did the other day, with the exception of the phenomenal Fellaini eh Nilsson. ;)

Liverpool fans can't even praise a player who did well without saddos jumping on it as if he's being compared to Messi. No surprise whatsoever to see Nilsson is one of them. All we need is Christian Slater to join the party and we'd have the full set.

Your insults hurt me.

I wasn't having a go at Liverpool fans or even having a go at Henderson who I rate, I was having a harmless laugh at G-Dragon (who I don't recognize as a Liverpool fan, his moron levels are too extreme even for that).

Hendo and Moreno needs to be sold.

Coming from a "Man Utd fan" who has more posts in Liverpool Matchday thread than United one? hahahhaahaha!

I was quite looking forward to your Pogba analysis.

So by your theory you're not allowed to praise a somewhat average player for having a very good game? Strange.
