We are selling two blocks of the Stacey West t home fans so it seems Notts haven't sold many.

Very surprising Notts can’t sell out that relatively small stand for a local game. Pretty poor

Looking at evens for home win, 3/1 for a surprise away triumph. Can’t be too many times in history where Notts are such heavy underdogs with the bookies at Sincil Bank.

Sadly that says it all

I’m surprised also but is it poorer than your historical average home attendance?

Nope

That’s not relevant, nice try though.

Such a poor effort though. is it due to Nolan’s dreadful football now he’s seemingly been found out? or everyone on a day trip to the bingo or something.

Of course it’s relevant lol. Poor away following, poor home support , that’s pretty damn similar Adam for Manchester.

You don’t think Mr Radford isn’t disappointed with the support from the Mansfield community since he took over and pumped heavy personal investment into the club? I’ll give you a clue.... he is, I heard him say it in person.

Both are poor in my opinion, bottom of the table Notts away following today , and Mansfield’s historical home attendances. Both disappointing

I’m sure you won’t see us failing to sell Lincoln out, would be such a poor effort if we did.

I seriously doubt you would either tbh. Now how about those home crowds? Another seriously poor effort. Maybe you should try some sort of offer/deal to pack out Field Mill? Just a thought.

Didn't happen.

Absolute top tier nonce behavior, turning a Lincoln vs County thread in to a discussion about attendances at Mansfield which BTW are average, not poor for this division.

Didn’t it? Are you guessing again?? I must of dreamt that during last seasons (BDO)match at Half Time at Meadow Lane in the directors area, Mr Radford commented as such whilst the conversation was regarding the tremendous away support that day in the opposite stand to where we were.

Yeah really annoying when fans from Grimsby and Mansfield post on a Lincoln vs Notts match thread looking for bites before being made to look daft. Standard behaviour, nothing new. There’s a clue in the title daft lad

Oh and please try and find a better word than nonce to use, unless you’ve done time of course. Which I seriously doubt, well i hope you haven’t

Back to the Imps vs Pies match thread

Four straight defeats, all heavy ones. It's either loans, or a new manager and loans, either way the weaknesses in the team can't be rectified from what's in the squad.
There's no team in this division that you'd put money on us to beat at the moment.
Worrying.

It is worrying. Now it's just whether Hardy backs Nolan. Every game bar the first game of the season we have conceded 3 goals. How does that happen? It happens because the midfield is terrible and the defence has been too.

Unlucky in some aspects today. Losing two defenders in the first half to injury and Hemmings hitting the post at 1 all. But we fall into the same issues we have in the past few games

Fitz isn't good enough. He needs binning.
New CB definitely needed if Duffy is out, but Bird isn't the answer

Husin is a wet towel. He looks like he's playing 5 a side. Terrible excuse for a footballer.

Vaughn, already said my piece here

Dennis and Hemmings too small to play together. Won't win games when we can't win a first ball

I make that 5 new signings required... Doubt we will see that.

We can write up off autos for sure unless we make changes. We need to think about how we even win a game at this rate. Far too Powderpuff for this league.

Agreed
Though I guess the fans that did go in the terrible following missed another terrible result. Lol

Husin out. One of the worst professional footballers I have ever seen.

That’s without starting on the goalkeeper.

Probably need to edit that last post Adam so it makes sense.

If only there was a designated thread solely about away followings, then you wouldn’t have to post in two other teams match thread :ffs:

No need just try and make it make sense. Small adjustment buddy. Unlike Notts who have after spending trillions and bringing in univerally agreed pretty damn good batch now find ourselves incredibly needing to make big adjustments. Nobody could of seen this start coming .

10/12 games still for me as always

We have built a team on paper, decided by a committee and just assumed it will work, disregarding the fact that you need to be physical in this league

True but there werent too many saying that before the Colchester game. Mr Hardy’s mind must be all over the shop. It’s bad enough for the fans but imagine it being your money when buying all this talent on paper. Ouch!

Right off to celebrate a birthday in the big city. I’ll let the management team work this (early) mess out , that’s what they get paid for after all.

This was interesting to see two sides who were relatively successful last season being direct but deciding to accept its limitations and change their style going into this season, and truth be told, Notts were exactly what I worried we'd end up like.

Basically going a full circle and having little physicality, little height and not being great in possession to play they way they've chosen in any event, or at least far too slow as passing the ball. Not much more pace than last season either.

Bar a couple of minutes after the equaliser, we kept them at arms length pretty comfortably.

Freck's looked an unbelievable hit but it looked that good that at the time you never quite know whether you get caught in the moment or not! Notts goal was a FK that went all the way in at the back post, but a weak attempted punch by their 'keeper fell to Andrade who made his finish easier than it looked.

Notts had a warning straight after HT but didn't heed it and Anderson ended the game early in the second half.

Notts didn't look particularly disorganised, just had a weak underbelly that we saw with Swindon a couple of weeks ago. The lack of Stead and then Duffy and Tootle going off probably didn't help albeit the latter was probably relieved to pick up any injury because he couldn't get anywhere near Andrade in the time he was on the field.

Hemming was constantly offside, Dennis was Shackell(ed) all game, the lad from Crawley had a bit of something about him but not enough to worry us. No good spending all that money at the top end of the pitch when you've got a midfield like that either. It didn't offer any creativity, pace, physicality or anything.

A nice, solid 7/10 performance from us in what turned out to be an comfortable afternoon. Mentions for Freck, who dominated midfield and Andrade who'll be giving the two or three players he faced today nightmares tonight.

Wish we'd have gone for Notts after the third a little more because there were more goals there, but at 3-1 it was game over.

Turns out you were all right. I’m quite amazed how poor you were. At times you looked decent, at other times it was a one horse race. Absolute belter of a goal for us from frecklington, can’t wait to watch that back. Then you get probably an undeserved equaliser from a decent free kick (which looked like it should have been a penalty anyway) cross/come shot, terrible wall placement mind. After that you hit the post following a shocker from Eardley. Having said that if you score I would have been annoyed because it looked like a foul on Eardley. Shocker from your keeper gifts us a goal. Then leading up to half time Notts were the better team. In the 2nd half County did pretty much nothing. After we scored a well worked 3rd goal we took our foot off the gas and coasted for the remainder of the game. Dominated the game overall and probably could have scored more.

Not really too sure what’s wrong with county, but playing long ball most of game when we’ve got Bostwick and Shackell in defence was never going to work

Must also add that it is really poetic justice for Nolan to see just how crap County were, watching them playing longball and having zero fight for the contest after stating before that 'he wouldn't pay good money to watch us'.

Hope you enjoy the dole Nolan.

Predicted a 3-1 defeat and I was right. Deserved win for Lincoln, changes needed at our place, rumours about stuff behind the scenes - only Notts could go from being pre-season title faves to bottom of the league :D

Well done to the Imps, fully expect them to be in the top 3 come May.

I'm just so pissed off with this. I thought we had stability, and a plan from the chairman down. Turns out they've spent an awful lot and gone a long way backwards.
O'Connor, Milsom and Forte would walk into this team, Ameobi crocked on one leg offers a better target than Hemmings or Dennis who clearly want to play with a target man.
How could a professional network of managers, coaches, scouts sign such an imbalanced squad.
Lincoln have added to what they had , we've thrown away some good players and gone for broke on a terrible mix of lightweights.
Hats off to the fans who were going mental after two games, they were right, apologies to them.

You've got big problems guys as bar the spell after you got level and nearly took the lead you did very little.
Losing two defenders didn't help granted if Tottle didn't go off injured it would have been red as he couldn't deal with Andrade.
Long way to go but a very competent showing from us.

Ok gentlemen we are shit so far this season but let’s not and never forget that you have been non league and multiple times! As of yet we’ve never experienced that #stain on our proud clubs history.Never forget your history, you’ve been officially shitter than we’ve ever been in our 150 years + history and that is likely to never change
