Darcy? I'm surprised Crawley would be open to that given he's appeared in 27 games for them and only signed a 2 year deal last summer. Doesn't seem like a player they'd be willing to move unless we offered a sizeable fee, which we never do.
All our players are for sale, every window. That's just the reality of a small club in league 2. Don't forget we lost club captain and top scorer last year to Gillingham for, a rumoured, £60k.

Darcy has been good for us. Doing a decent job in many different roles so he would have been missed if he'd gone.

We brought in a load of young loanees and signed a loanee on a permanent deal who Salford didn’t want. Our window was the opposite of money bags.

In fact we actually made a profit on transfer fees by selling Joe Lewis.

I was talking about the summer window and overall squads too for both sides. I’m not saying you went mental this window but probably only Wrexham spend more than you in the entire division overall.

Outs: Adam Long contract cancelled, Connor Carty Loan terminated due to torn acl caused by a Bradford player smashing him into the hoardings after the ball had crossed the line.
In’s: some French u20 keeper on loan from Hull.
Like Swindon we couldn’t pay a fee this window which given our position is like playing with an acl

Artell said post match that Crawley approached us for Wilson to go on loan and Wilson was happy to go, but Crawley didn't get the paperwork submitted in time so it fell through.

Would be a good appointment for Carlisle. Wouldn't be a good move for Wild.

Carlisle might be a league below Barrow next season too....
(The meltdown among Carlisle fans should that happen would be pure comedy gold)

Barrow are a well run club on an upward trajectory. Carlisle may be 'bigger' but have always been a bit of a basket case. Not convinced by their new owners but even if they sort it out I think it'll take a while.

Wild should be looking to manage in L1 next season, he might do that with Barrow but Carlisle are very unlikely to be there.

Carlisle won't stay up, not while they have that dodgy 'keeper in net.

Carlisle " Always" been a bit of a basket case. Well at least they have been in the top division. They must have been pretty good then.

OK in 1974 they were pretty good.

Fifty years of being a bit shit isn't great given the fact they've got no regional rivals.

We used to be pretty good too, in 1939.

Bloody Hitler and his war messing up our momentum, without that unibollocked twat I’m certain we’d still be in the top flight now.

Wanker.

That's nothing we've been on a downward slope ever since our FA victory in '94 bar the odd upward hiccup under legends Sirrel and Warnock.

Halting Grimsby’s progression is truly the most despicable think Hitler ever did
Yep, I’d always thought of him as an alright bloke but the more I think about what he did to GTFC the more I realise what an arsehole he was.

Rovers sign Senegalese defensive midfielder Ousmane Kane. Probably this season's Florent Hoti.

Keiren Westwood has signed for us on a one month contract. We've only got 1 fit keeper so it's not a surprise - he's been training with us for at least a couple of years.

Rumours our way that we are signing Broklyn Kabangola. A 21 year old defender recently with Southend.

It seems he is a free agent after failing to agree a new contract after he demanded he was selected for every game.

Sounds like trouble to me but he is "highly rated".

Wycombe
We've signed Richard Keogh, who was a free agent after leaving Wycombe. Knows Cotterill well and brings a lot of experience which we need at the back, expect he'll do some coaching as well.

He’s got the pace and turning circle of a block of concrete, but he’s certainly committed and reads the game well.

We let him go mainly cos we were originally supposed to be playing 3 at the back and doing all the “playing it out from the back” shite, but we realised we were too crap for that, moved to a back 4 and therefore had too many CBs…and he was further down the pecking order than he’d have liked.

So he’s not amazing but not shite either, I’d say a 6 or 7 out of 10 signing.

If there’s one thing I’d trust Cotterill to do, it’s building a solid defence, and whilst Keogh’s got zero pace, I’d say he’s a reliable old head.
