I thought our following of 272 at Crawley was respectable today given the atrocious away (and home) record we have.
Our away followings will increase if we get our shit together. As it stands I can’t see us taking more than 600 anywhere all season.

We used to have THE best % of away to home support in the country now it’s bang average for our gates. We took 1000 to Macclesfield on a Tuesday night in 2010/11, bet we won’t take 500 this season even on a Saturday if we carry on as we are.

It’s a darn shame but as someone who used to go to nearly every away game I’ve not been to any since our 4-1 defeat to Wigan in August last season. It’s just not worth the money.

Call me a glory hunter but there gets a point where the away form becomes so terrible that you’re just throwing money away. It’s the same story every single away game pretty much.

I get that away days are about a piss up as well as the match, but losing 3-0, 4-0, 5-1 on a fortnightly basis it does drain your appetite.
Did you?

Which part are you replying to
I presume he means the best % of home fans taken away as whenever I browsed the League 1 away support thread Oldham were always top of that part of it.

We were better as a % at one point, which is a fact. I’ll try and find some data.

I’m fairly certain it was the 2011/12 season. There is a spreadsheet online I will try to find it.

Been allocated 1190 for Grimsby in a few weeks time, with an additional 500 if required. Curious to see how many we take there, and I’d imagine our results in the next 2 home games will sway numbers. Win them both and we might well sell it out.

Over 1,400 Grecians at Fulham tonight. Decent turnout.

Shitting myself for our game against Oldham in a few weeks as they are taking over our town, again, apparently....

Our away end holds more than 600 you know :woot:

Oh like you bought huge numbers to Prenton Park last season when you where top of the League. There is needle between us now in the eyes of some of our fans after the way your drunken loud mouthed team and some of your fans, especially the one who wished all our children would die on Twitter and was stupid enough to put his name and photograph to it, acted at the back end of last season so expect a near to full away when we visit you..unlike when you come to our place of course.

If teams have needle with each other just because of what some dick head says on twitter then I think it’s time for everybody to just pack up and go home.

I was pretty annoyed by a lot of the squabbling at the end of last season too if that's any consolation. Obviously we've got a few tossers who support us but being banned from matches doesn't stop you posting shit online unfortunately.

Rivalry or not, I don't think you'll sell out our away end but I'm happy to be proved wrong. And yeah, our support's shite. I'm not going to argue that one :bg1:

355 Lincoln at Exeter, which is clever because we only got 352.
