His pace and power will cause problems down here, potentially a good player one day if he sorts out his decision making and awareness.

Pretty sure we will get permanent offers for ginger bollocks if he's fit enough to make a move, Scunthorpe had already lined up a £300k bid supposedly. If he ends up going back out on loan then i'd be surprised if its not Oldham.

Don't know how long it takes to recover from something like that to be honest, worried we will be stuck with him till the summer though.
McCall said we were in for Doyle, believed to be a permanent offer. Obviously not happening now though so we've moved our interest elsewhere, believe it's months not weeks with this sort of thing so yes looks like you're stuck with him.

Paddy Madden is another name we've been linked with.. apparently some Scunthorpe fans think it's a done deal?

It's all well and good signing good players in a last desperate attempt to stay up but we did this in the summer and look where it got us...

There is absolutely no doubt the players we have are good enough for this league, on paper it's a good team which makes it even more baffling that we currently sit 11 points adrift of safety, it's just horrific management by the club and Lee Clark that has got us to the performances we're seeing now, it's clear at least half the team don't want to play for us.
He's been linked with Doncaster, Fleetwood, Bradford and Bury already. By the sounds of it, wages are a big problem (he's one of our highest earners) and other teams aren't willing to pay that for a striker who cannot score. He's out of contract in summer so I doubt we will get a fee really.

Hope we don't bother with him tbh, looks fat and past it.

Jack Bridge leaving us for Northampton. Not really given a chance here, wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a really good signing or a complete waste of money to be honest.

What was the thinking about loaning out Ismail? Yesterday he was by far Walsall’s most potent threat, though looked a bit too reliant on his left foot. He looked a good player and could not work out why you shipped him out. I assume he will be at home park again this Saturday?

Lee Clark. That's all that needs to be said.

His loan doesn't run out till the 6th so you probably won't see him again.

What sort of player is he? We are crying out for width and pace, I assume he has neither.

Oh good, he could revitalise you. Certainly we had to mix up our formation by bringing Carey over from the right to the left and he had a more defensive role than I would like. It is never ideal when your most creative player has to mark their most creative player.

The creative sort, pretty sure he would like to play CAM but can play on the wing and has most of the time when he has played for us. He was highly rated by our youth set up but was clear early on Brown didn't rate him. Needed a run of games before I could make a judgement on him hence I don't really know whether it will be a good signing or not.

Give me the postcode and I'll drive the useless lazy bugger round for you

The man is absolute fucking quality. I'd have him back tomorrow. Just what kind of mis-management have you lot subjected him to, for you to think of him in this way?

Paddy Madden is off to Fleetwood it seems and Pompey are after an unknown league 1 striker too.

Seems Hanson is signing on loan. Can't be any worse than Smith.

Big rumour here that Madden has signed for Fleetwood. Supposedly a 150k fee which would be a ridiculously good bit of business by us.

Madden will always be a hero here but it was time for him to go. To get 150k for a player who's contract runs out in 6 months and has barely scored is great business. Best of luck to him though, hope he does well.

Hildeberto Pereira close to signing apparently. Apparently he's a nut job but he's dynamite on the wing.

Very good, was expecting Gilliead but think that's a formality anyway, this wasn't.
Other clubs had been asking about him.Pleased we’ve got him tied down, best young prospect we’ve had in years.

He has been dire, effen an jeffin at the fans on the car park and completely useless on the pitch. Dose not want to be here so why keep him?

I'm sure I read somewhere that bury will have to offload before they sign anyone? That could be tricky seeming as a number of players are on a decent wedge.

P.S if they sign Ripley they will stay up.

Looks as though none of our loan trio could be returning. Kean Bryan has been linked with Bristol City, Jack Byrne is apparently been used as a makeweight in a transfer deal for a hearts player at Wigan and even if doyles injury ain't bad we must be way down the pecking order to sign him.

Mceleney has fantastic reviews but Irish football ain't this standard. We need a goal scorer desperately as Davies needs 15 chances a game to score and holloway just ain't that type of striker.

I’ve seen that rumour, however I don’t think both Ridsdale & Neil would have been wined and dined by Latics today if they were only looking at Bodin.

Would imagine Doyle was a big talking point, and I’ve also seen a rumour that you’re after Rob Hunt - our LB who can also play RB (he’s right footed).

Seems the main player we were watching was Kean Bryan but still keeping tabs on Billy Bodin.

Can't say I know anything about Bryan.

Is he fit... last I heard he was scrapping in Bradford whilst pissed up because he’s injured and not training.
