It's definitely not the wrong decision, but this narrative that Dario is the big bad in all this when there are bound to be many, many more still within the game who knew and did as much has most certainly played its part.

There may indeed be more implicated. I'd be surprised if there wasn't. However the focus on Gradi results from the fact that he is a) high profile; b) currently involved in football, and c) concretely implicated by testimonial that has gone public. I cant think of anyone else who ticks all those boxes, hence the focus so far on Gradi alone (excluding those already convicted).

There were allegations which I won't repeat posted previously on tff. If Dario did visit parents of abused children to 'smooth things over' then he's an utter scumbag.

Time will tell.

It's less about the amount of coverage than the slant of the coverage. Case in point the Mirror this morning, headline of "abuse victim says Dario took me on a boat holiday when I was 11" followed by a small article about how Dario "behaved impeccably". Can't play dumb in knowing that headline is pure bait. That's where I'm coming from with them "having it in for Dario". When you remove the bile and click baits, add in stories that have only been covered locally, the whole case against Dario is pretty slim. At least publicly. There'll be a whole lot more behind the scenes that will be playing out and hopefully the truth one way or another will out and justice is served for the victims.
