There’s no reason why the replays have to be played on the same day.

We must have had record levels of rain in the last 24 hours, so massive credit to the ground staff for somehow getting the game finished. The high street end looked waterlogged first half but was a lot better after half time.

As for the game hard to read too much into it given the conditions. Tried to hold on but Bradford equalised and to be fair deserved at least a draw.

It’s ended in a what could have been moment for us unfortunately.
3-1 to Peterborough looks like a scoreline expected but doesn’t tell the tale.
They had most of the ball for the first 30 mins but it wasn’t backs against the wall defending. We defended excellently, kept our shape and the effort was fantastic. They didn’t look like scoring.
We then came into the game and created a couple of chances while playing some decent stuff in their half and wasn’t a surprise we took the lead. Cue euphoria and the pit of the stomach ‘can we’ feeling.

Cue the referee deciding he wanted to be the headline of the show.
Free kick given away infront of the away fans, Frankie Raymond has an arm out to block their player going for a quick free kick. Goes down holding his face and rolling around, right infront of the lino who doesn’t flag or even flinch. Ref hasn’t seen it but runs over and gives a straight red.

Utterly infuriating.

Resulting free kick gets whipped in and cleared, defensive line steps up leaving their lad offside, gets played back in and....lino decides not to give offside. 1-1.

We played the second half with 10 men and gave a really good account of ourselves, created chances, moved the ball about well but got done on the counter.

Raw emotion posting without viewing the highlights so may soften my outrage once viewed.

Thismanga, was at Boston last season
I think he started at MK Dons but never made a first team appearance.Their right winger, Nombe, was very lively too.

We were a complete shambles, the worst we have played under Mellon. I still think we will win the replay.

We spanked Boreham Wood today, it really didn't feel like we'd beaten a side from a higher league thought. The sad fact is we've won twice as many FA Cup matches than league matches this season so far, but the way we're playing I'm hopeful that things are slowly changing. If Boreham Wood are a typical mid-table National League side then the standard of that league has plummeted since our relegation.

Did many Boreham Wood fans turn up?? their owner made a big thing about putting on free travel for the fans & even agreeing to pay for them to get in.

Maybe 50 on the away end with another 20 sat in the stand. They were a quiet bunch too, but they didn't have much to shout about. I genuinely think we'd have taken more there had it gone to a replay, for the simple reason we've got a good number of exiles in the south-east.

Amazed that Aldershot game went ahead looking at the highlights, it looks like a swimming contest.

Would imagine Billericay v Chesterfield and Oxford v Tranmere are ahead of Hartlepool in those stakes. Depends how many are televised.

League 1 Gillingham away at a non league club trumps both of those shit house games surely, only saying this cos I'm more than likely working and gonna miss this game!

Not as confident as you of winning the replay. The playing surface down at Court Place farm could be a big leveller and one our heavier players may struggle on.

McNulty will miss out, but we have actually got a good record on plastic pitches in recent years. We won all three matches on them last season (Bromley, Sutton and Maidstone).

I don't think we can play as badly in the replay as we did yesterday and I think Oxford might have missed their chance, but we will see.

As if Stockport County beating Yeovil Town is an upset #FL4Eva

That was no plucky win. We were comfortably the better side until we tired, and even then they didnt really threaten.

Certainly our best result since dropping to non-league, and probably the most enjoyable.

Loved the Yeovil defending for your 3rd goal - deserves a place in the tinpot thread.

Oh and we managed to scrape past Torquay and the legend in his own mind Brett Williams, who managed as many as 8 minutes on the pitch. Chin up.

A great start for us, a goal and a man up. Only Stuart Sinclair knows why he made such a rash challenge so early on and in such an inconsequential part of the pitch.

Guiseley 2-0 Cambridge

All going to plan so far, bossed the first half. I just hope we've got the energy reserves to see this through as I can't believe Cambridge can be as poor in the second half. They're just jogging around the pitch whenever they're not walking. Bizzare.
Still this is Guiseley so expect the worst :D

Both of your goals were stunners.
I hope we can be as aggressive and positive this half as we were in the first, use the man advantage we’ll and tire Rovers out.

The standard dropped the year Cheltenham and Grimsby both went up, as we’ve both been tearing League 2 to shreds since promotion.

As predicted at half time we were knackered with ten minutes to go. Five extra minutes of added time was a little tense!

Proud of the lads they put in a real shift.

Strange how we couldn't buy a goal in the last four league games but everything flew in today.

Now we have to drag ourselves over to Bristol in midweek after Still decided to ignore Coulthirst and Tarpey when we needed a goal. Completely fed up with him now, he's tactically inept but as the squad isn't terrible enough to lose every week he'll just hang onto his job indefinitely.

Unlucky not to have won today, rattled the upright and had a few counter attack chances. Reckon we'd have seen it out if challoner hadn't been sent off. Was a poor challenge but I don't think he went in with any malice. Tbf should have been a penalty though.

Prestwich Heys v Radcliffe Fc is the game being broadcast on the BBC Website.

Good opportunity for local sides Long Eaton and South Normanton to progress to the next round against Grimsby Borough and Quorn respectively.
Radcliffe's game at some place in the Godforsaken Morecambe area was postponed yesterday and apparently some of their supporters opted to turn up at our game and cause some bovver. This was shocking, mostly because, based on our visits there on our way back to the Big Time, nobody realised Radcliffe had any supporters. :ds:

Referee was absolute dog today, for both teams. Had the entire ground chanting at him in the second half.

We had an amazing first half that couldn't have gone better. Half time comes around and whatever John Still said seemed to properly take it out of the lads. Awful substitutions, terrible tactics and poor refereeing gave them everything they needed and in the end despite having 10 men they should've blown us away. First time this season I've really felt anti-Still.

Attendances - not that we're anyone to talk (despite it being an FA Cup game offering £10 tickets and kids for a quid we still only added 200-ish home fans to our normal gate) I was disappointed at the Rovers support. All the MASSIVE CLUB jibes aside, I did expect 1000+ from them. Very quiet also, compared to our recent games at the Hive with them.

We'll get utterly spanked in the replay. We had our chance and like typical Barnet, we blew it.

le.

Absolutely right. The Brotherhood is a state of mind as much as a reality. We were disappointed not to win our game against the plucky Tin Potters, in their Cup Final yesterday. :bdick:

Indeed. In the first half we were positive and agressive while in the 2nd we were lethargic and tentative. Putting Sparkes on was an extremely mysterious decision too. Apart from taking a corner the guy had no involvement in the match, he’s too slow to get into the flow of the game.
