They went on sale yesterday to season ticket holders and we have 100 remaining.

Are Accrington geared up for Donny fans in the home end?

They were doing up the stand to the right of the away end as you look at the pitch.

It was basically a collection of bus stops cobbled together.

If they've not got it finished or certified that's all you'll get - though I thought that away end held more than 500?

After a quick look on the Accrington Twitter, they've said 500 is an initial allocation. The away end holds more than 500.

They did similar to us 2 seasons ago on an Easter Monday. They allocated us 700 tickets to pre sell, then the rest was pay on the gate. They were very creative with their attendance figures afterwards.

As mentioned above, the terrace alone holds way more than 500.

The Donny fans appear to be oddly Bertie Big Bollocks, as if they magically weren't the worst side the football league has ever seen a few years back. Still, they are the ninth biggest club in Yorkshire, so I guess we should all be impressed or something.

You've got to wonder about Police limits ....Accrington away end is 11 steps deep and has 4 urinals in a porta kabin and gets passed of 1800 ....Pools home end is 20 steps deep and has proper facilities and is passed for 1700 odd ......

It's a health and safety risk to have them here, surely. Our stadiums can't cope with the sheer weight of the numbers they're going to bring

I've heard we'll be giving Doncaster our entire East Stand when they visit on a Tuesday night in February, but I don't think that will be enough to stop them buying tickets in the home stands.

Tbh I'd have fancied last season's Accrington to beat last season's Doncaster, in fact Accrington even beat Donny when they were in the championship if I remember right!

It was a league cup match around 2010ish (I think Sean O'Driscoll may have still been in charge then) - to be honest its very rare that we win any league cup game! We drew Newcastle in the next round too…
As for the tickets for the Doncaster game not heard anything about any restrictions - all work done so far at the ground seems to be on the pitch and in the home end. As far as I know the away end hasn't been changed so no idea why there would be any restrictions. Most of the time you can pay on the gate. It could be that 500 tickets were sent over and the rest will be pay on the day. Sorry I can't be of more help

Yeah, there's surely no way in hell you fit 1800 people on that Accy terrace in this day and age (I might be completely wrong on this - did anyone fill it last season?).

Carlisle must have come close , the top 6 steps are held up by acro-props underneath ....I went with Pools with only 100 or so away fans , getting to use the 'facilities' was a challenge , how a Carlisle fan with my bladder manages is a mystery !

We filled it 2 seasons ago as well as the seating at the side, but they announced the away attendance as 900 or something.

You'd think that the small club would approach the huge club here and ask nicely if they could play the fixture at the huge clubs ground in return for the gate receipts.
