Assombalonga's £5.5m was well documented to be in instalments. Only other potential option is Middlesbrough with Tomlin but can't see that.

I would of had you down as playoff contenders for sure had you kept doyle definitely one of the best sides iv seen this year but i cant see how your gna replace that many goals. Weve done it many times selling our best players on deadline day its got to be more beneficial for you to keep him til the end of the season and try and go up you could of sold him then anyway poor move from your chairman

Doyle not our best player. More than pleased we've (so far) kept Morsy, Ryan, Raglan, Darikwa. We've had trouble scoring in patches even with Doyle so maybe some new faces is what we needed.
