It's amazing what calibre of player you can sign when there is no one rinsing money out of the club.

Haven't been this excited about a signing since Rakish Bingham

I hope he's got a bit more pace than our current CH's because we've started getting exposed a bit for pace at the back

Well Nelson is quite fast for a grizzled methuselah so you shouldn’t complain...

Our young forward Josh Koroma has signed a 2 year extension to his current deal, 19 years old with alot of potential. JE has managed to get the best out of him, which Steve Davis failed to do.

If he can rediscover half of his previous form,he'll be fantastic for this level

Hi all. Long time browser, first time poster. Brotherhood member.

Genuine question. Has any player falling out of the football league who was described as "will be fantastic at this level" ever actually turned out to be fantastic?

No.

The phrase is usually reserved for the creative midfield playmaker who came through the youth system of a top club, has played Championship football in his early career but is now an alcoholic and/or gambling addict who is on his 28th last chance in the game.

But on his day he will RUN THE SHOW.

Bit harsh on Luke Williams that like, he's only on his 24th.

Padraig Amond with 37 goals for us in 15/16 would fit the bill.

Town have signed left back Joe Skarz on loan until the end of the season. Great signing for us is that.

No idea how we've brought someone like Joe Skarz in. Well, it shows how mad priorities are at Bury, but even then he could've just as easily joined the Mighty Wrecsam.

Can’t think that there will be a better left back in the league than Joe Skarz. Very very good player and should never be in non league. Brilliant coup for us mind.

A signing with only 1 vowel. Gomis is rumoured to have a broken foot.

Former Crawley Town midfielder Aryan Tajbakhsh has joined Dover after training with Chris Kinnear’s squad for the past month.

The 27-year-old Londoner joined the League Two side in July 2016 and made his professional debut for against Colchester United in an EFL Trophy match a month later.

He went on to make 31 appearances before leaving at the end of last season.

You lot called Nathan Clarke shite and he’s been great so far and is a mainstay in one of the best defences in the league so far. We’ve got a fantastic manager who gets the best out of his players so I’m in no doubt Berrett will be a good addition.

I take it you've sacked a manager this season then as I'm sure you recently signed Simon Lenighan? :fl:

James Hurst? The bloke is an idiot, but he was solid and dependable at right back. I can think of a good chunk of players who were worse than him in my time watching Wrexham. He’s going to be another wasted talent, much like Kevin Thornton.

I don't know if a whoosh but Kev Thornton had more talent in his little toe than Hurst ever had.
